1. UPPAbaby Ridge
The UPPAbaby Ridge is the first jogger designed for
pushchairs all terrain-terrain adventures. You can find UPPAbaby
strollers for rough terrain on streets and playgrounds. The UPPAbaby Ridge was released in 2021. Ridge from UPPAbaby is a strong competitor against BOB joggers, such as the Alterrain Pro, Revolution Flex and Rambler. Although it has many of the same features as other joggers, the Ridge stands out with its never-flat tires and disc brakes fashioned after mountain bikes that provide more stopping power than the traditional drum brakes found on most jogging strollers.
The Ridge seat is higher than the majority of jogging seats, which allows children to see the surroundings more clearly. Parents can recline the seat in a range of positions with a standard plastic toggle and two straps attached to the back of the stroller. The canopy is pretty large and extends to provide more coverage on long walks, however the plastic covering could be susceptible to becoming dirty during muddy or rainy excursions.
In contrast to other joggers, the wheels on the UPPAbaby Ridge are foam-filled rubber instead of air-filled, which means there's no requirement to carry an extra set of tires or an air pump along with you. The Ridge features a rear wheel that can be locked for running, and a front wheel that adjusts for different terrains. The UPPAbaby Ridge comes with a parking brake that can be activated by your foot, much like other Jogging tollers.
A large, spacious basket under the seat offers plenty of space for equipment, snacks and toys for children. The canopy cover can be zipped open to give you more protection on sunny days, or closed and cinched in when it's cloudy. Parents will appreciate the fact that the Ridge is compatible with UPPAbaby's infant car seats and their Bassinet accessory (adapters are sold separately) for a travel set-up.
The UPPAbaby is very heavy and bulky when folded. It can be difficult to get on and off public transportation with the stroller, and it's not easy to navigate narrow aisles for shopping or in small storefronts.

4. Graco Expedition
The Graco Expedition, our cheapest model is a great option for parents looking for a smooth ride with plenty of storage space. It folds up small, and it can stand on its own when not in use. Its wheels were easy to maneuver around corners and rolled smoothly across the various terrains we test. It didn't perform well when going uphill when compared to the other wagons that we test.
The Expedition includes an adult tray that features two cup holders, as well as a padded storage space. It also includes a tray for children that has two cup holders, a snack area and two cupholders. It is compatible with an adapter for Graco car seats to make an entire travel set. The canopy can be adjusted forward and backward, but is too small to offer much protection.
The Expedition includes brake pedals for both rear wheels. They're easy to release and activate, but the underside of the pedals is rough for feet with no shoes or sandals. In our runaway wagon test the brakes stopped a stroller that was weighted but it slid off the road before it came to a stop. This model does NOT have the safety harness that has three points. The padded seat is very comfortable however the recline is not as comfortable. It's not a great choice for those who run regularly.
