1. Smeg BCC02
The design was created by Milan-based company Deep Design, this sleek compact and striking machine combines the unique retro style of the brand with cutting-edge technology. The machine can handle all the stages of the coffee-making process, from grinding beans to tamping into a puck and texturing milk before dispensed the right volume.
The machine also features an attractive brushed aluminum front and comes in red, black or taupe, so it's a great fit for the majority of kitchen designs. It's not free of flaws however. Most reviewers found that it was expensive for a cup to bean maker (and does not come with a pitcher of milk).
However, there were plenty of glowing reviews of the quality of the
coffee from bean to cup and the ease of use of this machine. The digital display provides information and step-bystep instructions throughout the entire process of brewing which will allow you to perfect your drink each time. The machine can even instruct you to adjust the size of the grind, in case that's not what you prefer. It's like having your very own personal barista at home (minus Elon Musk's rocket building skills and Harry Potter's invisible cape).
If you prefer drinks with milk, this model features a steam wand that's adjustable up and down to accommodate all drinking vessels, but not a Viking's drinking horn. We were also awed by the speed and efficiency at the way that the frothing was performed. It also produces a delicious espresso, with a great crema and full flavor despite its compact size.
The BCC02 is a great all-rounder. It's quiet and efficient, and offers great value for money at the current price of PS499. Its only real drawback is that it does not offer the same degree of customization like some of the other bean-to-cups we've tested. It comes with a 15 bar pump rather than the more typical 19 bars which isn't as effective for producing quality espressos. However, this is a fantastic bean to cup machine for those who prefer their coffee strong and dark. 2. Melitta Barista TS Smart

This makes the machine adaptable and flexible to your taste. There are plenty of options for varying the strength of your drinks as well as various sizes of cups and whether or not you want to add milk. The machine is equipped with two airtight bottles of beans that are automatically selected to suit different specialities. It is set to standard espresso beans in one and cafe creme (a German variation of long black or flat white) in the other, but you can choose whatever beans you like. There is also a chute that can be used for beans that are already ground if you prefer to make your own.
Users have also been amazed by the speed of the machine. It is more efficient than other machine they have ever used. The machine will also warn you when one of its hoppers are almost empty. This way, you won't run out of your preferred beverage.
The price may be a worry for certain. The machine is priced at PS999. It's still less expensive than comparable Jura machines with the same number features.
The Barista TS Smart is backed by an extensive warranty that provides two years of coverage. This is longer than the average one year warranty, which is a assurance from the manufacturer. It also includes the cleaning tablet and descaler, making it easy to stay on top of your machine's maintenance needs. This is a fantastic machine for those who want to buy a high-quality, versatile bean to cup machine (
