Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail For instance, it is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.
The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item such as increasing its damage.
Players can reroll their equipment in three categories that include physical power, magical power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that melee and weapons while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, while rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open they will display a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the quality of an
Best item upgrader by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the
item upgrader mod (
check out this one from trade-britanica.trade). The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the
item upgrading. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. This is an excellent option for players who wish to gain an advantage in combat but don't want to burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto the new gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are several ways to acquire the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will be upgraded to an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.
Items with upgraded base stats will display the blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with one another, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component requires an amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available to it. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will have discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on its type however, you'll usually require Dilithium as well as an amount of Upgrade tokens.
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide additional effects or an increase in item level. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it cannot be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", on the other hand increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get an exact roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will show a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor) and the tier of that item, the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory when you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
