The
best twin stroller Double Buggy Strollers
A double buggy is ideal when you are expecting twins or have two children of different ages. The best ones are easy to maneuver and handle rough surfaces and kerbs.
They also come with features like large sun canopy as well as hoods that are transparent and seats that can be adjusted.
1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double
The City Tour 2 Double is the smallest double stroller in the Baby Jogger range. It's designed to travel and fits through standard doorways easily with its ultra-narrow shape. It's also one the lightest double buggies you can find weighing only 14lb when folded. This makes it ideal to travel with a newborn and a toddler since you won't exceed the luggage allowances of airlines. It can also be folded up into a small travel bag, making it easy to store in the back seat of your car.
The one-handed Z-shape fold is a breeze, it's incredibly compact when you've mastered it and takes only a few seconds to unfold. Our tester found the auto lock a bit difficult to understand, and also because the handlebar doesn't lock into place when you push it, it hit her leg when she tried to use it. She also felt that the handlebar was a little shorter than she would like and especially with the large changing bag hanging off it.
As opposed to other light travel buggies it doesn't sacrifice features and is among the most full-featured double strollers available. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately) and offers multiple recline positions, and an UV 50+ canopy. You can even add the bassinet to either or both seats, and turn it into a travel set-up.
The four composite wheels made of rubber are ideal for pavements and urban terrain however, they're not designed for off-roading. They struggled with long grass and gravel and there's not much clearance between the wheel and the bracket so mud got stuck easily. Our tester loved this buggy, and it was able to climb some beautiful muddy hills.

The iCandy Orange double buggy is the most stylish, versatile and quality. It is a must-have for parents who want a stylish high-end double buggy that will last. The seats are molded and are very comfortable. The seats can also be adjusted and can be positioned according to the needs of siblings. iCandy has introduced the first 'cinema seating' design that allows parents to keep eye contact with both children. They can also be moved to face either parent or to face the world.
It's a heavier buggie in tandem, but it's easy to use and drive particularly on smooth roads. It is stable in single and
double stroller for twins mode, and can be used on sloped terrain. It's not as easy to drive on public transport, however, as it requires more than one hand on the handlebar. It's also quite bulky and can't be stuffed into a standard car boot with the seat in place, however this can be overcome with some cautious planning. iCandy includes the footmuff and changing bag with the cost, so it's a great value package for parents who are just starting out.

Our testers found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to navigate, even on rough terrain or when turning in an area with a lot of traffic. They were also awed by the fact that both seats recline independently, meaning they can be adjusted to suit your individual preferences - perfect for napping.
They also loved that the hoods could be moved back and forward and back, making them much easier to adjust in the sun or to provide wind protection. They did not offer the same amount of coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It's worth having an additional rain cover in the case.
Overall, our testers were impressed with the Nipper double's capacity to allow them to take their twin daughters Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures. From exploring the forest for wildlife to rushing to the park for a playdate they were thrilled. They were also awed by how cosy and spacious the two seats are, with plenty of room for toddlers growing to stretch out in. The lack of parent facing seating and the inability to use car seat in this buggy were cited as a disadvantage by our testers. They would also have liked to see a larger storage area for shopping and other gear.
