Developer Supergiant Games' 2020 roguelike Hades will be getting a sequel. It's a bold move that raises the stakes and provides an in-depth look at family politics.

Melinoe returns to kill Chronos the titan of time. On her route, she will encounter new gods, like the personifications of the light Apollo and witchcraft goddess Hecate, along with the god of revenge Nemesis.

1. Hades 2 Technical Test

If you're a big fan of Supergiant Games and their highly well-known 2020 Roguelike Hades It might be worthwhile to sign up to take part in the technical testing for its sequel. The studio says its Early Access launch is on the horizon, and a playtest will help them eliminate any bugs in smaller numbers of players than the full 1.0 release.

Hades 2 builds on the Roguelike gameplay of the previous and features a brand new protagonist and a broader roster of Greek gods to please. Participants in the technical test will be able to select various boons and rewards for every room they visit, battle enemies and minibosses and take on the boss of the area. They will also be able choose permanent upgrades and compete in "God Mode."

Hades 2 will feature more levels, foes, voiced characters, and key areas than the finished version of the original. The technical test participants won't be able to carry their progress into the Early Access build. Supergiant is planning to "reset" the game from the beginning when it reaches Early Access. 2. Hades 2 Early Access

Hades 2 is not only visually stunning, it also introduces brand new characters and features to the game that will make your experience more enjoyable and make you think in ways you never imagined. Alongside the new gods shades, and other items that populate the Underworld there are a variety of items that you can find and upgrade using Incantations. This system of perpetual upgrades is found throughout each game. Melinoe is able to create new spells and improve her Nocturnal Armor and Weapons. Melinoe can also gather items from the Crossroads Camp to use in future runs, and unlock boons, weapons and other tools.

The opening of more open areas is another welcome expansion. These regions offer a variety different routes through each area, as well as an ever-changing setting to explore. Each region provides a distinct perspective on the Underworld. Some are more accessible than others, however all offer unique challenges that distinguish them from other Roguelites.

Supergiant has also redesigned the gameplay in the early-access version. This has reduced some of the grinding needed to reach certain upgrades, and makes it easier to move between zones. Hades 2 is still far from being complete However, Supergiant has announced that it will continue to refine the game and improve it to perfection.

Supergiant has a reputation for listening to its customers and responding to any issues that pop up, which is evident in the way it's handled the early access release of Hades 2. 3. Hades 2 Beta
