World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key element of enhancing your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and the enchantments of items.

They also provide rewards and upgrades. They can be acquired from the Blacksmith.

The upgrade button is available on any item level upgrade. Every recycled item level upgrade adds one level to the upgrade gauge.

Weapon

When a weapon gets upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus and a scaling factor which affects other stats. The weapon can also be upgraded with a number of upgrade items components that offer additional effects or attributes as well as unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools. Most require that the equipment has an available upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. Once a weapon or armor piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, it can be upgraded with a different one but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-tier salvage tool on the item upgrading the item upgrader.

A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that increases certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier it can be done up to four times.

When the weapon is at maximum upgrade, it can be reforged with a number of different upgrade types to boost specific stats or to add bonuses and effects. These upgrades can all be applied simultaneously, and their effects will vary depending on how rare the weapon is.

Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both upgrade materials are different: Smithing Stones to modify the damage weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.

In general, it is recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, followed by armour defense, and then the other secondary stats that are required by your build. Particularly, it is common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon before any other gear, because it helps maximise DPS. This is especially true for enchantments that can boost a weapon's stats and damage.

Armor

Item upgrade upgrades allow players to boost the stats of certain weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, such as an increase in damage or a cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, through loot drops or as rewards from quests.

The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor will upgrade to the next level following an upgrade. This is possible for any type of armor, but certain types of armor cannot be upgraded in any way (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).

Most armor upgrades provide some improvement to an item's base defense or strength. However, certain upgrade components can give significant enhancements to strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an item that is epic.

Certain upgrades offer specific abilities that can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can prove useful in combat. For instance they can boost attack speed or block. Certain upgrades also offer passive effects, for instance cutting down on the amount of damage that is taken while wearing armor or granting the chance to avoid attacks.

Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item can require several tries. For instance the case of a player wanting to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale The first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59 and 67. The second attempt will result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor with the base defense of between 67-77.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do so, they must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each location has an incredibly fair that can improve a piece of armor for you.

Contrary to popular belief, armor in The Division 2 is not useless. The water bottle, common and thick potions, as well as awkward potions, now have a distinct brewing texture. The potion of weakness was added to the healing potion in the Creative inventory. Trinket

This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze by making them more common. At the moment the trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more common and gives each floor the chance to contain an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket require an amount of energy.

This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to alter the dungeon's environment and increase the likelihood of generating grass and water. At its current level this trinket will make X% of the floors become filled with grass or water, however it won't affect enchantments or symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items generated to help solve hazard rooms.

Although it appears to be the normal eye of a newt this mysterious object appears to affect your vision in ways that go beyond just reducing your field view. At its current level this trinket boosts the overall health of the drinkers of healing, waterskins, and wells of health by X%. It also grants vision on enemies within the Y tiles. This does not stack with the Heightened Senses.

After you have completed the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket into the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will cause a random effect on the trinket either prolonging its life or enhancing its effects. You can reorge the Trinket as many times as you like, but it will always have a different effect than the one you had when you made it.

You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy, but will increase the trinkets power by a small amount.
