World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The Item Upgrader Mod, Sciencewiki.Science, upgrade allows players to boost an item's gear rating up to 700 points and add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading because of their unique stats. (For instance an excellently roll breakpoint armor is used in melee PvP). Other items, like weapons don't change much after an upgrade items, and aren't worth the effort.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, including attack damage, crit probability and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also come with a flat bonus that increases the damage they deal per second. Some weapons also have an unaffected bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a unit. In certain instances, this bonus could add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon can sustain by itself.

The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity and current level. For example, an +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the gun will increase until it requires a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

Upgrading weapons will also reroll their base stats. While this is usually an excellent thing however, it could have negative consequences as well. Upgrades can make things inaccessible, unless you're very lucky.

The ability to upgrade armor items to boost their stats. This can increase the base defense of a chest or helm as well as belts and gloves. These can boost their strength and agility. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it can sometimes roll down to a lower value.

The upgrade item template for a weapon displays the new stats that it will gain when upgraded in addition to their relative values. This means that a weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. Rerolling a weapon is also possible by pressing the green button on the Best item upgrader menu, using the circling arrows. The item will be rerolled and alter its stats but it won't reset the weapon's level or tie it to the account status.

Armor

A few tweaks to your armor can make an enormous difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets provide massive increases in poison or curse, fire or magic resistance, making traversing tough areas a breeze. The more defense your character has, the more value you can get from each point of health, so it's important to upgrade your armor as much as you can.

To upgrade your armor, go to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four in total each of which requires you to complete a unique side quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed your main quest and the associated fountains, you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels, and the amount of materials and Rupees required for each level will differ. In general, you'll need at anything from three to ten Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the first upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. For example the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, which allows you to keep pace with a large group of adversaries in most cold conditions, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded up to +20 defense, providing you enough protection to survive a full on raid with a few of your friends.

Be aware that armor can't be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll need to focus on upgrading it for physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power when you're Mage. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you will still be wearing at the end of the story, such as the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you'll wear in the final boss fight The Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

You can also unlock some benefits to your armor by presenting the jeweler at Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. You'll generally want to save these upgrades to the weapon that you'll use to win the game. For instance, the Longsword or Battleaxe. It's nevertheless beneficial to have some upgrades to the chest armor and helmets to let you escape some monsters.

Potions

Potions are substances in bottles that, when consumed, give the player an effect on their status for a short period of time. There are five types of potions with different effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to increase their level of effectiveness. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.

The table for potion can now be made using four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons like Java Edition. This is the same for using a potion in a cauldron that is full. This will drain the potion, and refill the bottle.

There are also simmering potions that are made using dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions' effect is extended by adding redstone. The table of potions has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added, for instance, the potion of leaping and decomposition.

Trinkets

In general, players should upgrade their most important items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are upgraded first before their secondary gear and finally other equipment that they will not replace anytime soon (such as rings or cloaks). When deciding the items to upgrade, players should consider the preferred statistics of their class. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for a tank player then they should consider upgrading their chest, helm and shoulders.

Trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher ilvl once they're no longer needed, and the new trinket will have an additional 1% upgrade bonus. A re-upgrade, however, will destroy the trinket unless it is salvaged using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still cheaper than purchasing an entirely new trinket.
