Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption function in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an acquired item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one of the same type and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. They don't preserve the original item's level and any wasted resources aren't rewarded.
Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on the equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment in three attributes: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next Success is to be rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
During a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on the choice of Franchise Cards. This affects which blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These stones are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements are met, the player can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. This makes the system an excellent method for players to get a significant advantage in combat without straining their accounts. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item onto a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for novice players. There are a variety of ways to obtain them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in the area. The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add items to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. When a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of an item will increase by an amount of. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. Also, when a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the
item upgrader mod type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The items can be upgraded by adding
upgrade item components to equipment and weapons. This gives them more effects or an improved quality of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or replaced freely, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", on the other hand, increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get a perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will add an item in your inventory after you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an
item upgrader kit upgrade items by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
