Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly adept, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on various floor types. Choose models that permit you to choose between multiple modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Find an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and alter the behavior of the S1.
When I tried the S1, it was able to identify our downstairs, which is home to linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, plus medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even across thresholds that are raised without issue. However it had some issues getting down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and raised itself when it was near carpets or rugs.
The S1's docking station automatically empties its dust bin and refills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although this can vary based on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working efficiently. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them becoming clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an efficient solution to your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum comes with 8,700Pa suction power and comes with a variety of innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried at the base station, as needed.
This robot combo is easy to set up and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are two water tanks which are automatically emptied or refilled. It also comes with a variety of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily removes all kinds of debris, including the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty robust, however it is sometimes hung up on the tiny carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can control by creating a virtual border within the app). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with two spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to just dragging the pad over it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation when needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance, making it a clear contender for our

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush which automatically moves out to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that extend along baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent that can navigate narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can move from one room to another without having to change direction. This is a great feature for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than other models However, it tends to leave a large space around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.
The app is streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter the suction power, mop settings as well as view 2D and 3-D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, allowing you to monitor its progress from any location. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You will need a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of removing dirt and debris, but it can't always be able to reach every bit of dust. It's important to vacuum frequently, every week. This is particularly important for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mops, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's cheaper since it does not have mopping capabilities, and also has a plastic body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've ever seen at this price, even though it's not equipped to wipe your floor. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It also has a clever app that lets you set your floor's type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt, and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have issues with high-pile carpets or area rug, but it was unable to clean up cat litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that lets it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums are unable to. This device also collects more dust in a larger bin, so you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters that further lower the costs associated with using the device. The
robot vacuum reviews is able to detect carpets, and boost suction if necessary. You can also mark areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
