His focus is on robot vacuums, and mopping combinations. Multitaskers can be a great option for those looking to remove mopping from their list of tasks. They feature impressive mapping and obstacle avoidance, and some wash and refill their mopping pads to ensure a hands-free clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum that can also mop, this is the model to go for. It is smaller than other models and makes it easier to maneuver in tight corners or under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in robot vacuums. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery that can last up to 170 minutes when cleaning and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It can even return to the dock to top up its battery part way through a clean.

It's extremely fast and does an excellent job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways in just one sweep. Its suction motor of 8,000pa will quickly pick up dirt, droppings, and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes in contact with carpets and the dual side brushes help to tease out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, isn't as impressive. The rotating mop spins fast and utilizes 2.2lbs to remove dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a bit more than other robots. This is helpful when you're trying to get into tight corners or on baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to sweep larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've tested. It is quieter and doesn't make more noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform mopping, and is separate from the vacuum. It's simple to set up and is effective however this is something you'll need to be aware of if you're buying this robot vacuum for the sole purpose of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums that mop in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a wide range of features.

The device is equipped with an extremely powerful and impressive cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensors with an RGB camera to map your home and identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean intelligently and methodically. This will result in an effective, consistent cleaning which is also relatively fast.

The Q Revo DuoRoller mop pad can reach a variety of surfaces. This includes corners, baseboards and other hard to reach spots. The side brush can be stretched to extend to the floor, close to the walls or other fixtures. The mop pads are also washable and dry to reduce odors and prevent buildup.

App-based customization is yet another noteworthy feature. The Q Revo allows you to alter the intensity of its suction and choose between a back-and-forth or slightly more random patterns. You can also adjust the number of passes it will make, which will determine how quickly the device can traverse your home. You can also deactivate the side brush in order to prevent damage to carpets and rugs.

The device has a expensive price tag, but it comes with a large selection of advanced features. It's crucial to remember that it carries recurring expenses in the form of mopping supplies and maintenance. For example, a brushroll needs to be replaced every six to twelve months or after 300 hours. The filter must be cleaned after 150 hours and the mop pad should be replaced every one to three months.

The robot vacuum that mops is rated highly on Amazon and comes with a wide array of physical automation features. The robot vacuum also has a power button which doubles as the 'Clean button' and a 'Home' button to send it back home after cleaning. It also has a multifunctional dock that automatically empties the trash bin and refills its water tank for mopping and washes and dry its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

The Shark Matrix Plus will be the ideal choice for busy professionals or anyone looking to keep their home clean without spending too much time doing chores. It has powerful performance, intelligent navigation, and a long battery life that makes it easy to keep your home tidy with little effort.

The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a two-in-one mop and vacuum. It is capable of mopping and vacuuming. It has two modules: a combined dry bin and water reservoir and a separate mopping module with microfiber pads that snap in and out of place. Separate modules for mopping and vacuuming may seem a bit old-fashioned however, they mean that you don't need to worry about changing bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.

Our test participants discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job at both vacuuming and mopping. Its best feature is its precise floorplan map, which it uses when cleaning. This made it easy for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture rug, furniture and other obstacles. The app allows you to create 'No-Go Zones' or virtual barriers to stop certain areas from being cleaned by a mop.

The Matrix Plus also did a amazing job of picking up pet hair. It was able to capture many of the hair shed by our cats, and even made it into the nooks and crannies on our stairs, where other robots have struggled. It was relatively quiet and had some lovely jingles to let you know when it was starting or finishing its work.

The app was too basic and you had to switch the modules every time you changed between vacuuming and mopping. The app doesn't have the capacity to hold multiple maps, which could be a problem when you live in a house with a mix of floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a ideal choice for people who are looking for a smart device that can mop and vacuum.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, but it has some distinctive features that are worth considering. The X1 Omni is most well-known for its huge dock that serves as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dustbin and a 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base also has a variety of control buttons that let you manually start cleaning and then recall the robot or use the dock's automatic emptying process. Press two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents who are worried about their kids messing around with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than conventional laser detection systems and is four times more accurate in recognizing objects.

The X1 can be prone to become stuck if it is entangled in a blockage, such as a power cable draped over a rug. It will not work until you untangle it manually. This is a rare event however, it was a bit frustrating since the X1 does not have an "stuck status" alert on its application.

The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad however, the mopping pad isn't washed or dried between uses. This could lead to mildew and mold.

On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a big change from the utilitarian all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing appearance in a market which is dominated by clunky boxy models.
