MadeForMums tested the Cybex Avi Spin for us and we had the chance to take it out with one of Australia's top middle-distance runners Genevieve Gregson who recently became a mother. We asked Genevieve Gregson what she thought about the pram, and if it could be improved.

The front swivel wheel is unparalleled for maneuverability in tight city corners and the air-filled tyres offer comfortable cushioning on city walks, nature walks or even runs. The swivel can be locked to give additional stability when running on rough terrain. The fully reclined seat is designed ergonomically to lie flat and is suitable for babies from birth. The harness with one pull makes it easy to get in and out access while the compact fold makes it easy to store and transport. The wheels are also easily removable for an even smaller fold! The brake lever is situated on the right side of the handlebar, which may make it difficult to operate with just one hand.

Out N About Nipper V5

With the Out N About Nipper V5 You can take your child on thrilling off-road excursions and jogging smooth in complete ease. Its lightweight frame, rear suspension, and tyres with air-filled treads provide the most comfortable ride on all terrains including city streets and scenic countryside routes. You can also buy an infant insert if planning to use your buggy terrain from birth. You'll need to purchase the newborn insert separately but only if you plan to use your Nipper in conjunction with a car seat.

The Nipper Double is towards the top end of the price scale for side-by-side prams, but it feels robust and durable and can be used from birth to about four years old. It is more expensive than other models, as it doesn't have the option of a seat that is facing the parent and isn't compatible with car seats. However, it has excellent maneuverability and can take on any terrain.

The assembly is quite simple, and the manual is very clear and easy to follow. The only criticisms I have are that they're loud and clunky, and the Velcro used to secure them may make your baby scream. This is a major issue especially if you're walking through a park at night and don't want other parents to be disturbed. A storage area was also mentioned as a problem.

There are also a lot of other features, including smart lighting that changes color to show the child's state of sleep or hungry. There's also an air-con slot to keep your child cool, as well as an extra-large hood with mosquito protection.

It is not cheap, and you might struggle to find a better deal when you plan to use it from the start. It's also very heavy, so you might require help to carry it into your car. There are also a few small honeycomb-like spots that are exposed at the bottom of the seat that could become a breeding ground for vomit and spilled drinks.
