After a series of social media posts that hint at it, Italian supercar-maker

Once it returned to earth the carbon fiber was transformed into this unique artwork. The physical piece is equipped with an NFT serial code that connects to the digital art work via a QR code on the rear.

At the center of each Space Key is a block made of a high-tech carbon fire composite material that was sent to the International Space Station in 2019 as part of a research program. After returning to Earth the Space Key was imprinted with a QR code that links it to the digital component of the Space Key.
Each of the five Space Keys will feature a distinct moment that occurs only seconds apart as the

Oefner utilized an inflatable camera with an lens to take individual images, which were then put together into the final image. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned off in the near future, but there is no specific date or place yet.

The auctions, which will be held between February 1 through February 4, will last for 75 hours and 50 minutes - the same time it took Apollo 11 to leave Earth and enter lunar orbit. By registering online, you can bid on five NFTs. Each NFT will be sold individually and the winner will be awarded a digital artwork by renowned photographer Fabian Oefner that captures five different moments that the Space Key experienced during its flight through space.
