3 in 1 pram. Doona Stroller
The Doona is the only infant car seat that also doubles as a stroller, making it the ideal travel pushchair if your need an additional car seat and stroller. It has received top safety ratings from Stifting Warentest and ADAC. It also received five stars for its ease of use. The Doona is also rated for air travel with infants, and is certified to meet the strict US and EU standards.
The Doona is unique because of its double-wall structure that allows the wheels and body to be folded into one. This offers significant advantages in terms of safety. Two layers of impact-absorbing plastic, plus additional layers of EPS foam and textiles offer increased side-impact protection for your child. The handle can also function as a powerful bar that can absorb the forces of an accident and stop your child from reversing backwards, causing serious injuries.
You can open the wheels of the Doona by lifting an arm on the back of the seat. The result is a slight jolt, which doesn't awaken your baby. To put the wheels back in, you simply lift the lever and the process is effortless.
The Doona is compatible with numerous cars and public transportation which makes it a great travel pushchair. It's designed to fit through narrow airline aisles and is suitable for traveling with infants, so you can take your Doona with you wherever you go, even overseas. It's also easy to set up without or with the base. This is great for those who are renting a car on your journey, or don't want to clutter up your home for a base.
4. Trvl Stroller
If you're on an outing in the city, a whirlwind weekend trip or exploring distant destinations, the Nuna Trvl Stroller will keep your travels easy and stress-free. This lightweight stroller packs a big punch
pram with car seat the highest level of comfort for your child as well as convenience for you, with an ultra compact self-fold that redefines what it means to be travel ready.
The forward and back wheel suspension allows you to maneuver over rough terrain. The adjustable calf supports raise the seat so that your child can ride in comfortable. The specially designed canopy offers UPF 50+ sun protection as well as an open window. And if you're a frequent flyer, you'll appreciate the fact that this stroller can be tucked away in the overhead bins of a majority of airlines (please check with your airline to confirm! ).
The Trvl is super easy to use even with newborn children. It is simple to connect the PIPA Series infant car seats to the belly bar with its magnetic MagneTech snap buckle. The Trvl also has the luxurious leatherette-accented pushbar and handle for comfortable grip.
The Trvl has a big, easy-to-access basket that can accommodate a variety of items (it can fit a diaper bag and small backpack!). The legs are located on the longer side for greater stability and the stroller glided smoothly across all surfaces tested. The fold is tricky. The ring and handle needs to be perfectly timed which means it is susceptible to slipping out of alignment if you aren't careful. It's a minor issue, but it's something to think about in case you intend to use this stroller on trips.
5. Graco 3D Lite Stroller
This stroller has a lot to offer a single-child model. It features a quick one-second fold and an expandable basket that has the cup holder for parents. It has a pivoting tray for the child as well as the safety harness has five points. Its downside is that it doesn't recline completely, so it's not the best choice for babies (use beginning at 6 months or more).
It's the most affordable stroller we've reviewed. It's lightweight and has high seats that give your child a great view. It is not as durable as the more expensive models and is prone to slipping on uneven surfaces such as cobblestones. It also has dual front wheels that can be moved to the side when they encounter obstacles.
The 3D Lite comes with a small storage container that is able to hold the backpack diaper bag of medium size. It also has an open view of the canopy. The sunshade on it is tiny and may be the smallest and does not extend beyond the back of your child's. It does, however, have a sun visor that pops out.
There's a padded 5-point harness on the seat and the frame comes with an adjustable shoulder strap that lets you carry it when folded. It's not as compact as the TraveLite but it folds extremely quickly.
It comes with a three-position seat recline, but it doesn't go all the way flat (use beginning at 6 months and up). The brakes are stiffer than most of the competition and require both sides to be pressed for full engagement of the brakes. Overall the quality of the 3D Lite is decent for its price. It's better than the budget-friendly Kolcraft cloud plus, but not as good at some of the more expensive competitors.
