The band releases Mindfields in 1999 and embarks on a major tour across the globe. After several weeks in Europe, the band heads to Japan for sold-out shows. After a brief break, Toto resumes recording and goes on to record their first live album titled Absolutely Live in 1993 which includes a cover of Weezer's song Hash Pipe in response to the band's cover of their hit Africa on the recent tour. Toto's touring group includes drummer Lenny Castro and bassist Shannon Forrest along with keyboardist Shem Von Schroeck.
