Path of Exile
item upgrader mod Upgrading
In Path of Exile, item upgrading is one of the best ways to improve your gear without relying on massive drops or trade. This article will teach you how to upgrade your gear.
Upgrades to equipment give an additional bonus to the item's stats. The amount of bonus varies according to the rarity and level of the upgrade component.
Components
Upgrade components make your armour and weapons stronger. You can acquire them by the destruction of enemies, finding them in spheres of items or buying them from karma dealers. They can also be salvaged from equipment that contains them or by using the highest-quality salvage kits such as the Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool. Upgrade components are not destroyed when you remove them from the item.
Upgrade components are mostly used to improve an item but they can also be used for other purposes. They can be stacked in order to boost the level or the amount of experience gained by upgrading weapons or gear. They can also be made to give additional bonuses. A crafted glyph can increase the upgrade chances of its target, while an upgrade boosts the attack or defense attributes of the weapon.
Selecting an upgrade template from the GUI will allow you to connect it to an item. This will show the upgrade components that the item can be upgraded. Alternately, you can utilize the workbench to select an upgrade template. In either case the item will be upgraded once enough upgrade components are collected.
Each component has its own experience multiplier, which affects the amount of experience an item will gain when it is upgraded by the component. Organic components, like, have an increased multiplier of experience than mechanical components. You should upgrade organic components first until you reach the next rank in the weapon or equipment and then move on to mechanical upgrades.
Each item comes with an upgrade maximum number that can be received. The number of upgrades available is determined by its upgradeable rank and the type of upgrade for the upgradeable item. The most powerful upgrade is a weapon with the tier 10. However, the most common upgrades for weapons are an tier 6 weapon as well as a tier 5 armor upgrade.
Sets
A set is a collection of items that share the same bonus. Each item in the set can be upgraded at least one time, and each upgrade boosts the amount of bonuses that are guaranteed. When you first upgrade the set piece or weapon, it will receive an increase of +1 to its primary stat. After subsequent upgrades, the primary stats will be increased a bit more (for example, +1 up to 12+/13+/14+) Every time you upgrade the item it will have one of its additional stats is boosted randomly.
Upgrades to a weapon may increase its damage base, which could be crucial for certain builds. Weapons cannot be upgraded for an increased maximum defence roll than their base. It's possible to increase the value of certain sets and unique items by upgrading them, however they might not always be superior to a high-level Runeword.
If you're upgrading an item that has bonuses, the item can be rerolled one time and the guarantee will reset to 0. Rerolling costs the same amount of power dice as leveling an item up, but the new item will have additional bonuses. Upgrading can be done by visiting the NPC [Armorthe ] Boboko in Central Flarine. To upgrade an item, you will need a power die of each kind (Dice 4 or 6 drop from monsters 21+ and Giants; dice 7 drops from bosses) and the right amount of Minerals and Erons. These can be purchased by using Gold at the crafting table or in the Ultra Collection. The NPC will also offer an additional reward for each completed tier of the upgrade process. This reward can be rerolled once and will be made using the same materials used in the original
item upgrader.
Rerolling
A player can play rerolling any item that they acquire during the game, provided they have enough tokens to be able to do so. When an upgraded item is to be rerolled, it will be exchanged for a version at a level 1 of the same item from a different set. Reroll tokens can be purchased from the store for an amount of in-game currency, but they aren't refundable. The new item will offer the same bonuses as the previous one, but the stats will differ.
Players can alter the identification of equipment in addition to rerolling it by interacting with an upgrader NPC. This will change the identification from a weapon to armor or vice versa, while keeping its basic stats and the attributes it requires. The change is permanent and will affect all characters who have the gear in question.
Players can also increase the item level of any equipped equipment by obtaining upgrade components and interacting with the NPC who upgrades the item. The cost of upgrading will depend on the upgrade track, the
item Upgrader mod type and number of crests. Each upgrade will add 5% more damage to weapons.
Upgrades can increase the power of an item, but they can also reduce its quality. It is therefore important to balance the two. Some items aren't worth upgrading, whereas others require upgrades to make them more effective. For instance an individual player may wish to upgrade a piece breakpoint armor with an interesting modifier ( percent chance of blocking or FHR) to explore the possibilities of what it can be.
The primary reason why people play rerolls in Genshin Impact, or in any gacha-based game is because they're trying to obtain a particular character or weapon that they wouldn't otherwise be able to acquire. These items can be expensive and time-consuming and the RNG gods aren't always willing to play. The only alternative is to invest money or grind a lot. Rerolling is a popular feature in Genshin Impact.
Leveling
You can choose whether to upgrade the weapon or armor when upgrading an item. This feature isn't available in the current version of the game. I think this feature was created to give value to expensive and rare items. However, as most items are replaced quite quickly and can only be leveled up to a certain level, you will generally replace it before it is too old. It's also not worthwhile to upgrade items that have gem sockets since the value of the gem will far outweigh the higher ilvl that comes with the upgrade.
You will see a small box when you click on the upgrade option for an
item upgrader mod. It will show the item's template, the Crest, as well as the Valorstone cost to raise the item's level. Armor and weapons will have different costs, with the former generally being more expensive. The upgrade template shows the stats that will be added to the upgraded item and also lists its current base ilvl.
The Crest and Valorstone costs are calculated based on the item's current ilvl as well as the upgrade template. The ilvl will also be decreased by the upgrade templates lvl reduction percentage. For instance, an upgrade of 8% can reduce the weapon's ilvl by 8 to 8%.
In addition to the base ilvl boost it will also get upgrades in other stats like critical strike damage, PvE damage, block, parry and dodge rating. These increases are also based off the upgrade template.
The amount of damage and defense that the item will receive when leveled up can be seen below the cost and upgrade decrease percentages in the upgrade template window. Aside from practice equipment, all armor and weapons gain the same stats when they are leveled up. The value of these additional stats will be determined by the market, with a rolled perfect version of a piece of armor or weapon is able to command more trade value than non-upp'd versions. The same applies to other pieces of armor, such as circlets and tiaras.
