World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. They also increase bonuses like damage from PvE and crit chance.

If the weapon's upgrade template ends in %, it will increase an additional 3% of the previous damage each time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item increases as it reaches the current level of the item. The cost increases as the level of the item rises.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into weapons, armor, and trinkets in order to provide an extra stat boost or effect while they're in use. They can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors or trading with other players or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be placed in equipment that has a slot to accommodate them; the item must be at least upgraded to the blue level in order for the component to be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied once. They are not able to be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and enrichments are a specific kind of upgrade component that is that is used to upgrade non-amulet ascended or legendary equipment and some of the back items that are not ascending. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging ascended equipment or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, which alters the name of the item it is applied to (for instance, 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players create stronger versions with the smallest amount of Upgrade crystals than they would require to achieve the same level using standard methods.

A 'boost upgrade' can alter the defense or attack properties of a weapon, or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear, or by buying them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals.

Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-tier version of an item will be dropped in the next reset. This gives players the opportunity to upgrade their gear even in the event that they don't know what can be improved upon an update.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be costly and there is a significant chance that the item could become obsolete or even break when it fails; a failed upgrade will cause the destruction of Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item level upgrade. Cash shop items can be used to minimize or eliminate the chance of failure. Some upgrades also offer a bonus if reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in special sockets. Glyphs increase the power of nodes within a radius, and include any existing attaches. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We recommend upgrading them as quickly as you can to level 15.

In the final game you'll often discover that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is to place Glyphs. These are the only upgrade components which can be upgraded to level 15 and give a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced, but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and then re-install.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with a different Glyph of the same rank or higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of an Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain gathering tools that are unlimited-use and also through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

When you have the desired Glyphs, you will need to place them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a special bonus that will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Using the Glyph will boost all nodes that are connected to it, so you should aim to place your Glyphs near the most important nodes of the Graph to maximise the impact. For example, a Druid should try to place their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes, but you should also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The Best item upgrade upgrading system lets players increase the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components in them. This is commonly known as "upping". Each upgradeable item has a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of 385. Each level of an item requires a different number of components to reach and the costs for upgrading increase as the item gets advanced in level.

Certain upgrades require a specific ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained from finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or purchased from some NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed earns some Technology Points. These points can be used to level up the item, and once enough are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an individual player improves an item upgrader kit it will be replaced by an item that is new. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own bonus. This could be a problem, as it can cause the item to become more expensive if you do not require it.

If the player has enough tokens they can reroll item upgrades. This will cause the item to be traded for a new one, with the level 1 base, and a different set of bonus bonuses. This can be beneficial however it should not be repeated often since it can waste resources.

Some upgrades can increase their value and allow players to personalize their gear. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an increase in power when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or does not swim as dolphins). It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time increasing the max roll by a factor of 10. This item is very useful in PvP. A properly rolled version could be worth as much as 50x the value of its unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to boost the level of their available equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets above ilvl 385--by presenting the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC that upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces boost the defense of the base set and upgrades to weapon items increase their base damage as well as their strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade an object it has a chance of failing. The failure rate increases as you go over the maximum number. Failures will result in the item reverting to its initial state, which will force the user to pay more for materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item does not upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it gained like chances to be crit attack damage, additional effects (such as increased heal over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player can still continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

When an Best item upgrade is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to the highest. This means that if a weapon gains an increase in its crit chance the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. A new attribute called Slots is now added to the item's definition and the value is recomputed every time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to its base value. For example an item of common use could have five upgrades for a price of. 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items are less expensive per upgrade.

Premium items could require different upgrades than regular gear. For example, they may need fewer sowels, but more minerals and orons. The player will still need to take each piece of gear they want to upgrade to NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each upgrade will require the use of different ingredients for upgrading.
