2 in 1 car seat stroller in 1 pram (
visit Northwestu) Stroller
With its fancy leatherette handle and handy extra features, the TAVO Next glides smoothly over almost all terrains. It's not the lightest stroller that we have but it's easier to lift up and down than our competitors.
The Cybex Gazelle is a gazelle even when loaded with groceries and up to three children. The downside is it doesn't come with a second child board or seat for growing families.
1. TAVO Next
The TAVO Next is a budget-friendly stroller that is able to accommodate kids up to 50 pounds. It's incredibly spacious, and its seat reclines very easily and it is able to lay flat. It's also easy to close and open and has an XXL canopy that has peek-a-boo windows and venting. In 2021, Nuna gave the TAVO an updated harness that features Magnetech Secure Snap, which allows for a simple and secure way to secure with one hand.
While the TAVO is a great option for parents who want to save money, it's not ideal if you want to use a bassinet or a reversible seat. It can only be positioned only one way, and does not come with any accessories, like a bassinet stand or rain cover. The MIXX Next is the better alternative for those looking for more space because it can accommodate these accessories.
The TAVO features a built-in suspension system called Free-flex. It lets you travel anywhere, and even take your baby from the car to the curb. The spacious, luxurious seat lets baby kick back and relax or slip off to dreamland. Parents will also enjoy the small fold-away wheel and MagneTech Secure Snap.
The TAVO is very easy to fold and stands upright in folded position and can be used to free up spaces such as garages, closets or trunks. It is also easy to move and comes with a handy basket for storage and flip-flop-friendly brakes. It connects to the Nuna PIPA series of car seats in a snap with no adapters needed for a sleek
2in1 travel system set.
2 in 1 bassinet stroller. UPPAbaby Vista v2
The UPPAbaby V2 is our most highly-rated full-size stroller. It is a fantastic choice for families who have growing babies as it can be used with a bassinet or infant car seat and toddler seats. This stroller is versatile enough to accept riding boards, which turns it into a triple stroller.
The cushioned seats are designed for comfort. The recline is easy to operate and has four different positions, making it adjustable for the child's requirements. The foot rest can also be adjusted to provide passengers with an easier ride. The canopy is massive and is a huge bonus for parents looking to shield their children from the sun. It is SPF 50+ rated and features a pop-out visor, two mesh peek-aboo windows, and a flap cover.
The fabrics of the UPPAbaby V2 are machine washable. This is important as it will extend the lifespan of your stroller which means you will enjoy many years of usage out of it. It is also simpler to clean up spills such as spills of juice or food, rather than having to scrub away the stains that are stubborn.
UPPAbaby's new tires are larger and softer than previous models, which means more comfortable riding. They can handle rough terrain and limit vibrations while driving through the city. The brakes are single-action and simple to operate, with a small color-coded pedal that's compatible with all kinds of shoes.
This stroller is among the most expensive one in our review. However, it's worth investing if you are looking for a stroller that will last for many years. Visit Amazon to find out more about the UPPAbaby Vista V2.
3. Cybex Gazelle
The Cybex Gazelle is a great choice for parents looking for an infant stroller that can grow with their family. It's classified as a "modular stroller" or "convertible stroller", and it has more than 20 different designs for use with different seat units, cots, and infant car seats (car adapters for seats are sold separately).
We love that the Cybex Gazelle is lightweight and easy to move making it perfect for parents who love to go out and explore. It has a large storage basket and many attachments to help parents carry their groceries or even light shopping. It's a bit more expensive than the other two in one prams, but it's worth the cost because the quality and performance are top-notch.
The stroller comes with an easy-pull harness that makes securing your child's seat a breeze. It features a sun canopy that has XXL removable panels and peek-a-boo windows. It also has a tray for parents to store their snacks, drinks and phones. The handlebar can be adjusted to match the height of the parent and the brake is easily accessed, making it safe for children to operate.
Our mom tester Sophie from London used this stroller with two daughters aged 5 and 10 months. It was easy to maneuver and very smooth on cobbled streets, even when the ground was slick. She loved that the padded seat and footrests were specifically designed to provide comfort and the large shopping basket was handy. She also appreciated that the hood and handlebar fabrics could be washed in the washing machine which is important for parents with busy schedules!
4. Joovy Twin Roo+
The Twin Roo+ is a minimalist frame stroller that offers car seat compatibility. It also comes with a large storage container. It is among the lightest double strollers available on the market. It weighs 24lbs with infant car seat attachments, which is on the lighter side for a double stroller. It is a bit heavier than the UPPAbaby v2 double and the Thule Urban Glide
2 in 1 travel system with car seat double.
The Roo+ is simple to use and comes with a handy quick-start guide. It is easy to put together and is road-ready in just 10 minutes. It doesn't come with a canopy built-in which means your kids will need to wear their own sunshades if they require extra protection from the elements.
In our tests, we discovered that the Roo+ was a dual stroller that was able to handle. It can navigate most terrains, but it has issues with grassy areas as well as over gravel. It isn't easy to steer over and up 1-inch curbs. We don't recommend taking this stroller off-road or on stairs, however it does provide excellent suspension to minimize bumps for the passengers.
While the Roo+ has a large under-seat storage compartment, it's difficult to access without taking off the infant car seats. This is a common issue twin frame strollers commonly face, but Joovy has an
baby pram 2 in 1 carrier that fits under the seat to help solve this problem.
Unlike other top-scoring models, the Roo+ does not have self-standing folds or cup holders. This is a minor sacrifice to make for its car seat compatibility and storage options however we'd prefer to have more flexibility from our strollers. The flexibility of its seating configuration is a benefit, however, as it allows parents to place their children's infant car seats facing in opposite directions or in the same direction to better suit their needs.
5. Delta Children LX Side by Side
Delta Children LX Side by Side scored highly for weight and folded size. It's the top value double umbrella stroller we've seen in our review. It also scores highly for maneuverability, which is a key feature for parents who are looking for a stroller that can be tucked away in small spaces. The Delta is a basic product which is lacking some features that other strollers that we tested provide, such as a deep recline or large storage basket. It's a great choice for families on a limited budget or for those who only require a second stroller on occasion such as for trips to the zoo.
The LX Side-by-Side is a light and compact stroller. It is easy to turn and push. Its comparatively short frame, swivel front wheels and padding for the shoulder pads ensure the perfect ride for your kids. The multi-position reclining seats and parent cup holders allow for a comfortable ride for passengers.
It also has large canopy with a European style that provides shade from the sun and some protection against light winds. It also comes with two storage bags as well as an all-around harness with five points for safety.
The Delta took less than three minutes to assemble it was the fastest time in our test group. The manual isn't great and the assembly doesn't require tools. It is among the lightest products in our test group and folds flat, making it very easy to lift and carry. In our Strollers & Multiples testing, we rate the ease and speed with which the product moves and turns, opens and closes the safety harness, adjusts the brakes, opens and closes the storage basket, and installs and removes a car seat for infants.
