Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements used.
For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by another of the same kind however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't keep the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
The survivors can get reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of a piece equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks and spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens:
upgrade item rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades the
item upgrades to higher quality. To produce them, you'll need an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary
Best item upgrader, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next success is to be rerolled. This allows you to not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they're opened they will display a complete description and the icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop can trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones which increase the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. The system is a great way for players who want to get an edge in combat, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Moreover players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item to new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. There are a variety of ways to obtain them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition, players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an
Best item Upgrade that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, previews show what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an
item upgrade reaches its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. Likewise, once an item is on an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats of armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ based on the type of item however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade tokens.
The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade element is inserted into an
item upgrading, it cannot be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.
Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the item's statistics.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and gives an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.
Certain items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing it. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
