Path of Exile Item Upgrading

The best way to upgrade your equipment in Path of Exile is through item upgrades. This lets you upgrade your gear without having depend on costly trades or drops. This article will show you how to upgrade your items effectively.

Upgrades to equipment provide a bonus on the item's stats. The bonus increases with upgrade component level and rarity.

Components

Upgrade components make your weapons and armour better. You can get them from destroying enemies, finding them in item upgrader spheres, or buying them from karma merchants. They can also be salvaged from equipment with them or by using an advanced salvage kit such as the Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool. Upgrade components cannot be destroyed when they are removed from an item.

The main function of upgrade components is to enable an item to be upgraded, but they also serve other purposes. They can be used to increase the level or experience gained from upgrading existing equipment or weapons. They can be made for additional bonuses. Sets
