The
Best Twin BuggyThis inline
thule double stroller is designed to expand with your family. It offers a variety of seating options that can be used by twins or kids of different age groups. Its foam-filled rubber tires never go flat and its soft suspension makes it easy to navigate kerbs.
It folds up super-flat and satisfies the weight requirements of airlines gate-checks, making it easy to carry. It also comes with a huge underseat storage basket and four-panel sun canopy.
Leclerc Influencer
The Leclerc influencer is a fantastic choice for flyers. Its sleek design, auto-folding feature and cabin approved dimensions make it a fantastic option. Its folded (and unfolded) width is 47cm, which slightly exceeds the IATA standard of 45cm but it still complies with the airline's hand luggage requirements and can be stored in overhead lockers during flights (Subject to Airline Approval). It was easy to clean using a cloth and there were plenty of other items like nappy nappy, footmuffs and buggie organizer bags that clip on to the handles, and hoods that come with UV50+ protection.
We love that it is so compact when collapsed, and that it can easily fit into small spaces like shops narrow alleyways, and Jane's tiny terrace house - and it's even easy to move up and down the stairs. The bumper bar doubles as a carry handle and there's an enormous, flip-flop-friendly brake that has a color indicator. The basket is smaller than the other models, but it will still hold a large changing bag. There are additional trays to store drinks, snacks and toys.
It's suitable for babies from the moment of birth and can be combined with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat with adaptors (sold separately). The innovative backrest can be folded down to make it ideal for long walks or naps. The magnetic 5-point harness makes it simple to use. It's also extremely light, weighing only 6.6kg. A travel bag is included.
Joie Evalite Duo
British brand Joie is dedicated to "sharing joy with parents who are expecting" by creating pushchairs that are "functional, innovative and stylish". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It is designed to hold two children at the same time unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also offers stadium seating that lets both children experience the world at once.
With a weight of just under 10kg The Evalite Duo is one of the tiniest strollers for siblings available. It is suitable from birth and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's simple to drive or ride, lift, and fold and the clever frame expands to fit the second seat.
Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is a major feature of the Evalite Duo, and they were awed by how quickly and easily it can be put together. They did notice that it was more difficult to navigate rough surfaces and bumps as compared to other models.
The front seat does not fully recline, so parents needed to use their own hands to lower it. This is something they'd prefer to avoid when traveling with children. Nonetheless, they say the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that could be perfect with a few adjustments. And they appreciate that it's compact and small when folded!
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that offers parents all the options they require. It is compatible with many car seats, and folds effortlessly using a one-click mechanism. It also comes with plenty of accessories that rival brands will charge separately like rain covers and liners.
iCandy's Peach pushchair is a favored choice for fashion-conscious parents thanks to its fashionable and modern premium jersey fabrics. This new 2022 Peach has been upgraded with a few minor tweaks to increase performance and functionality, without compromising aesthetics.
The addition of a ride-on board makes this the ideal option for twins. It's also smaller than the older Peach model, yet it still has all the space your children may require.
It's a great double stroller for parents who are looking for something that looks good and offers a lot of flexibility. It can be used as a single pram right from birth and then buy the double kit to make it into a
twin strollers for newborns buggy. It also has a massive basket and five reclining positions for maximum comfort for your children. It also has an integrated carry strap and a single-handed folding mechanism. The only issue is that it's a little heavy to carry around when you aren't using it in particular since it folds into two pieces instead of one.
iCandy Orange
This is the most comfortable twin buggy available. The seats are able to be fitted with liners and footmuffs that keep your children warm during cold winter months. The carrycot can be inserted into the Orange chassis easily with gate-opening flaps on the sides and is comfortable and spacious. Orange chassis can accommodate 30 combinations of the seat and carrycot.
The wheels are specially designed to tackle pavements and rough ground and there's a hefty shopping basket that's ideal for big supermarket shops. This pushchair feels smooth to drive and has a light feel, and the rounded pedal brake is easy to use (but not a flip-flop-friendly model). It's not the easiest one to fold as the latch that holds it folded requires two hands to open. After it's folded, the front wheels fold under the basket and the chassis can stand on its own with ease.
The Orange is a great choice for style-conscious parents who have a baby or toddler and want a stroller that will be able to grow with the child. It's also a great option for parents expecting an additional child in the not-too-distant future who want a flexible double pushchair. The iCandy Orange is not
cheap double buggy but it's flexible enough that it will last for several years and will have a high resale price as well. It can also be fitted with a buggy board which will reduce the amount of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
Mountain Buggy, founded by a New Zealander and part of the Mokopuna Group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger, is the first company in the world of prams to concentrate on double all-terrain pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller is easily maneuvered around narrow aisles for shopping and through doorways. It is among the most compact and fully-featured double buggies on the market and has been awarded numerous awards, including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
The seats are narrow enough to let children of various ages to sit comfortably together. They are also independently reclining so that kids can select their preferred position. The large canopies come with flip-out sun visors and the storage basket is spacious with plenty of space. It can accommodate two infant car seats when you buy of car seat adapters. It can be used with almost all brands which is a major plus.
The only drawback is the weight. At 32.4 lbs, it is difficult to lift into and out of the trunk, and may be difficult for Grandma to handle. And, it is more expensive than the majority of side-by-side double buggies. But, it's made to last and has numerous features for the money. It's an excellent choice for parents in urban areas who don't want to carry around a bulky stroller. The padded harnesses, 5-point buckles and straps with padding ensure that it is safe for infants.
Bugaboo Donkey Twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a stylish and functional design. It's a high-quality product however, it's not without faults.
For one, it offers very little in terms of additional conveniences for the kids and the parents. There's a small side bin next to the seat that can only be used when one seat is attached and that's all the thing it has. There are no cup holders, parent trays or accessory pockets. This could be a problem on long trips.
The seats aren't very flat, and the gap between the seats is quite large. Our 5-year-old was having trouble reclined comfortably. It's unfortunate given that this is a high-end vehicle.
On the positive side, it's easy to maneuver, and the swivel wheels are great in climbing the steps and slopes. It's also slim enough to fit through the majority of doors and folds up easily for easy storage and transport. It can also be converted back
ready to grow double stroller mono mode in just three clicks if require more space or a quick getaway. The comfortable wheeled board is able to accommodate the third child should it be needed. If you're on budget, there are cheaper options. If you like the brand and can afford it, it's worth the price.
