WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by +3. A random additional substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for those with higher variance because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrades upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item used to upgrade items will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create enchantments.

You can upgrade item your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear current, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each several weeks.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the item level, however they'll always be cheaper than buying new equipment. For instance upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that are used to upgrade weapons and tools, armor and other items. They can be purchased from NPCs of item upgraders for various currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Another notable modification is that crests have one use and it's crucial to make use of them in a responsible manner. It is best to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the best gear that you can find, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is especially true for items such as rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The discount for the entire account will only apply when all slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
