GE Profile Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Like the name suggests, GE's Profile series targets the consumer who wants to incorporate cutting-edge features in their kitchen. This refrigerator has it all including a Keurig K cup coffee maker in the door to a smart dispenser of water. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. Given that this fridge costs an extra amount, I'd like to see better.

This fridge is a good choice, despite the blip. It has a large freezer compartment that is not common for counter-depth rangemaster french style fridge freezer-door fridges. It also holds a lot of frozen food items compared to other models.

Inside the fridge, there are 17 shelves and compartments. The app is available on iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from any place in the globe. It also has many options for customization. It also gives you notifications when doors are left open, when the refrigerator or freezer needs to be defrosted and when it's time to change the filter.

It is nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill, an option available in a few other GE refrigerators that allows you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to disperse at once. The fridge displays a countdown to display how much water remains but it's not as helpful as Precise fill.

The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. The ice maker is one of the most efficient we've ever tested, and it produces a pyramid-shaped form of ice that is low in water usage. This refrigerator is a great option for households with a single member or kitchenettes who want a sleek design and top of the line food preservation.

This refrigerator was the highest-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators test, for a few reasons. Its freezer temperatures held firm at just a few degrees Fahrenheit and never fluctuating more than a fraction a degree--this is key in preventing freezer burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well, achieving the temperature that was set for the initial setting within a matter of hours and keeping the temperature constant over the course of our tests.

Bosch is a household name known for its top-quality appliances. Therefore, it's not a surprise that Bosch counter depth refrigerator is one of them. LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S is an excellent counter-depth refrigerator that packs a lot of storage in an extremely compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge has the standard French door design, with two rows of spill-capture shelving and a set crisper drawers. The upper right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more room. You'll also find a full-width drawer for deli and an inside water dispenser.

One of the nice features of this refrigerator is that its ice maker is in the freezer, which makes it easy to transfer ice into the fridge to be used when it is required. The freezer also comes with thoughtful design features, such as sliding drawers that allow you to sort your things. It comes with a large bin to store frozen food items, and a separate bin for ice.

Another cool feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can manage the temperature, lighting and other aspects of your refrigerator from your smartphone. It's a great way to control and monitor your refrigerator, especially when you're away from home.

But while the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it does not necessarily add to the overall performance of the refrigerator. The fridge took a bit longer to chill food and defrost it than other models we tested. This is likely due to the greater capacity.

The doors are a different issue with this fridge. They have handles that are sunken on the front that allow shorter people to easily open them from the bottom, but they're not easy for taller people to steer closed without slamming the doors. It would have been much better if these had front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those looking to combine the look of a French door refrigerator with an efficient design. Its capacity is above average for a counter-depth model and it cools well and has a nice layout. It's also less expensive than the top counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which can make it an attractive option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a great choice for those looking for a French-door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It has a simple design that's not as striking visually like some of the competitors however it comes with enough features to make it a good option. Its most important feature, the temperature adjustable drawer, helps to keep food like vegetables and meat fresher longer. It also has a large water and ice maker dispenser.

The "Chill Drawer", which is located over the two crisper bins, is another nice feature. This drawer lets you divert part of the refrigerator's cooling power directly to this area, so you can put away food items that require extra attention. You can alter the feature using an adjustable slider that is located just on the outside of the drawer. You can also set the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've noticed that the general settings are more effective than the specific ones.

During my tests, the refrigerator's temperatures were fairly constant across the different areas of the fridge. Temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge didn't stray much from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. This is a great performance but does not quite make it to the top of our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. This fridge can be paired with a smart thermostat to get more accurate readings on the internal temperature of your fridge.

The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's outside is made of stainless steel with a grey-bodied body with a "smudge-proof" finish. It repels fingerprints and streaks better than other stainless steel finishes I've tried.
