1. Roomba Q5 pro
The Q5 Pro and its sibling, the more expensive Q7 Max Series, are among the most powerful robot vacuums we've tested. They feature motors that are top of the line and can suction up to 5,500 Pascals. Like other premium iRobot models (including the top pick) they utilize smart mapping technology to design detailed floor plans and avoid common obstacles like cords and furniture legs. The robots also come with the feature of Carpet Boost which boosts its power when it detects dirt on the carpet.
Both the Q5 and Q7 Max Series get very good scores in our tests on floors that are bare They're also particularly adept at cleaning pet hair. However, they do have a few flaws however, which hinder them from being our top option. One of the weaknesses of the Q5 is its navigation system doesn't have AI-powered obstacles avoidance. It's therefore prone to get stuck on socks and shoes, and it couldn't navigate through rooms with a lot of people efficiently during our tests. It doesn't also have a camera that can see around corners.
Still, it's very good to consider, particularly if you're looking to save money on a Roomba from iRobot, and you have a mostly bare-floor home or office. It's also very quiet and works when you're at work or at school. The only thing it lacks that you don't get in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on floors that aren't clean. It's also less effective at mopping, using disposable wet wipes that don't hold on very well and can't handle dried-on debris. The Q5 has a self-emptying cradle, however. If you need to clean the mopping pad, it can be changed for an awe-inspiring one in a matter of seconds.
2. IRobot Roomba
The iRobot Roomba X30 is a compact, sleek vacuum cleaner that can also mop floors. Its quick navigation and smart cleaning maps make it quick to clean and effective at dealing with larger particles such as pet hair. It also has a powerful suction and a self-emptying bin. It's the best robot hoover (
https://www.metooo.io/u/675581e6b4f59c1178b00b21) for carpets, but it isn't as effective as some of its competitors when it comes to deep cleaning.

The app lets you customize zones and change the cleaning schedule. Its battery life is average compared to similar models.
If the X30 Ultra is in a carpeted area, you can instruct it to remove and extend its mop. This helps prevent cross contamination. The flex arm can be used to reach under furniture with low levels and along baseboards. It doesn't perform as well on the washboard as our other Editors' Choice Picks, the Ecovacs Ozmo N8Pro+ and the iRobot Combo j9+.
During testing, X30 Ultra was the most efficient robot vacuum/mop which could complete the task of cleaning a whole home and had 66 percent of its battery remaining. It did a decent cleaning job on a variety of rooms and floors with various flooring types including some area rug. Its obstacle detection was great and it stayed clear of fake dog turds, socks, shoes and bundles cables.
It's more expensive than iRobot Combo v9+ or iRobot Roomba j9+ but it has superior suction and an onboard bin that automatically empty into the base. It also supports voice commands using Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It can also clean the floor even after it vacuums. This is something we haven't seen on other robotic vacuum/mop combos.
3. iRobot Roomba X40
With a sleek, circular design that looks more like a regular Roomba than the competitors' compact models this mop and robot vacuum is one of the most attractive designs in our tests. The latest flagship model from iRobot is also its smartest. It has advanced features such as enhanced dirt detection and future compatibility (another company's robot that is able to wash mop pads in a self-cleaning manner).
It's also the only robotic vacuum/mop to score a perfect 10 out of 10 in our testing. This is thanks to a combination high-tech sensors, including a structured light system, camera and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra was the only robot we tested that could fill and empty its basestation in a self-contained manner. It also boasted a suction of 12,000Pa and self-cleaning mops.
As with other iRobot models like the X40 is easy to use, offering an intuitive mobile app interface as well as integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Google Assistant. The only drawback is that the X40 still a noisy unit. This can be a problem in the mornings prior to work or in the evening when you're trying to fall asleep.
It's also a bit costly but not as much as the Ecovacs S8 MaxV Ultra or Roborock S8 Omni, which are equally capable and better looking. This is a two-in-one vacuum that's very capable however, it's more expensive and produce more noise.
iRobot L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the best
robot vacuum uk vacuum and mop. It comes with a variety of advanced features that make you forget about your chores. Similar to Ecovacs' range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-free cleaning machine that takes care of both mopping and vacuuming, with a multifunction dock that automatically empty the vacuum's dustbin, refills its water tank, and washes and dries its mop pads.
The smart robot makes use of LIDAR and structured lighting to map out floor plans and spot obstacles. It can navigate more efficiently than its premium competitors. It also has a camera mounted on the front to detect hazards in real-time, although this wasn't quite foolproof in our testing and was occasionally confused by power cords or other obstructions.
The vacuum cleaner comes with the capacity to suction up to 7,000 Pascals which is more than sufficient to accomplish the task. It also has an attribute called "Intelligent Dirt Detection", that regulates the power of the vacuum and adjusts cleaning frequency for various areas of the home based on how dirty these areas tend to be.
If you have a bigger home, it's worth selecting a robot that comes with the option of cleaning zones or spots. This allows you to inform the

robot cleaner vacuum to resume where it left off can be very beneficial.
iRobot RX3
The RX3 is more sophisticated than its price suggests. It does a stellar job vacuuming, removing 55% of the debris that was found in our tests (it was second only to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mops with one pad, which uses a reciprocating motion, which does a better job cleaning than the other
robot mop cleaners we've examined. It's also self-sufficient with a full-featured app and a self emptying base that is washable.
The iRobot application is designed to help you navigate a mapping run that collects data on your floorplan, as well as any "no go" areas you've marked on the map. It can be used to make cleaning schedules, plan an area for cleaning or to prioritise your dirtiest rooms to improve performance. The app also gives access to a variety of features, such as seasonal suggestions, custom maps and advanced settings for your cleaning.
It also has the ability to reach corners and under furniture better because its shape is more rectangular. It is equipped with an impressive 8,000 Pascal suction as well as sophisticated combs that remove pet hair. You can also set up a spot-clean that will thoroughly clean an area.
The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a more sleek and more affordable alternative to the iRobot Roomba. It's got a more attractive design, akin to Dolce & Gabbana. The twin cameras are designed like cute eyes. It is excellent at vacuuming, but it is more likely to get caught in low thresholds. It also has a higher noise than other top robot vacuums we have test. It also has a less intuitive app and a tiny base station that doesn't double as a bin for emptying.
