Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using an app that can save the maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also adjust the suction power, and how much water your mop consumes.

A mapping function will help your robot navigate through rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles helps it avoid running over furniture, wires or even stray toys. These features are crucial in my home, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It's able to sweep and mop in one session and even lift its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from getting too wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by finding pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on a surface.

The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad of more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also has mop lifter technology that will lift the pad automatically as it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

In addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be washed and heat-dried within the dock and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. This means that you can set it and forget it, only needing to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I used it on its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and return to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is at the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a complete and robust product, with the only downside being the fact that it's pricey. But its abundance of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It also includes an app-based controller that is smart and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the highest robotic hoovers vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it was able to perform well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4% of debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair with no tangling. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The dock empties its dustbin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry its mop pads for you. It also features a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops I test The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. In addition it's not as adept at removing stubborn stains as those found in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned out as well as the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately will require replacement every few months.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a tight budget, I recommend a more basic model that lets you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic cleaner and mop mop and vacuum combination you could find, its high cost and constant maintenance will make it more of a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to get rid of messes and clean dirt off your floors. This powerful robovac/mop combination is a mighty suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. If you want to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. If you opt for this option however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.

As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map out a area and moved around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing, but this may be rectified when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, but it still has some amazing features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start an entire map and clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can select specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've crafted. Like all Roborock models we've examined The Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized manner. Its 'Normal" pathing setting covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

This device has a major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can use the automatic vacuum cleaner's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot clean a little better than its cheaper competitors.
