Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail For instance, it is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is swapped for one of the same type, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in chests and crates or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of the equipment for example, increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To create them, you need an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next success is to be rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. They are also available to players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in battle without straining their bank account. Furthermore players can transfer experience and advancement of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the
item level upgrade will be upgraded to an upgraded level. The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at a time. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items as well as a certain level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can place an item to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. When the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the
upgrade items process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. In the same way, once an item is on a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This gives them extra effects or an increased quality of the
Best Item upgrade. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade element is inserted into an item, it isn't able to be removed or replaced freely, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and adds an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Some items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but for the fact that it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
