Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons. They offer an added benefit or impact while the equipment in use. They can be purchased from vendors or other players, looted or obtained as rewards, or made by crafting materials. Upgrades can have cosmetic effects in addition to providing attribute bonuses.
Infusions, inscriptions, and enhancements are all types of upgrade component. They are generally not available for general use, and can only be used on ascended equipment or some non-ascended weapons from the Factions campaign. Infusions, inscriptions, and enrichments can be extracted from equipment using an Infusion Extraction Device, or salvaged using a Blacklion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool.
Unlike other upgrade items, Phoenix Boxes can be traded even while still attached to the item that they are upgrading, and they can be re-used after being reclaimed. These upgrade items can be used to boost weapon and armor quality, without spending Dilithium. They can double the chances that the item will receive a quality upgrade.
Upgrade components can be added to an item however, the original one is destroyed (except for legendaries and upgraded equipment). Upgrade components are only available to upgraded items with an identification level of zero or more. When you upgrade a weapon that is already equipped with a prefix or suffix upgrade will display the name of the upgraded item as it appears in the game (for example adding the Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be referred to as Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player can own up to three upgrade items at once.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be an excellent accessory to any item. They provide unique advantages and boosts. Some Glyphs can also increase the number of affixes that can be placed on an item, increasing the overall power of the item. These glyphs can be found through dungeons, and some can even be found in specific World Tier 3 areas. It is important to keep in mind that glyphs are only available to players who have created a dungeon that has the same level of depth.
To make use of a Glyph first, you need to create it using components and connect them with anchors. The component will then automatically align itself to other components or paths within the same layer. If you don't wish to create the glyph using components, you can employ an array of anchors and paths. Drag an element in the direction of the component that is highlighted to hold it in the right spot.
Certain glyphs require certain conditions to satisfy, like having a minimum of 25 Dexterity in a specific area on the Paragon Board. Certain glyphs require a particular number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which could also be difficult to achieve. Some glyphs have a radius that increases as you level it up.
Glyphs can be used on many different weapons and objects, except for those belonging to a particular class. Some of these glyphs have additional requirements, like a certain amount of Dexterity damage or Attack damage for a specific part of the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph boosts the probability of preventing enemy attacks by 5%. It also has an opportunity of 15%, making the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
There are a few glyphs that could be applied to tools that are limited-use, such as the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. These glyphs are counted towards the Combat Mechanic Achievement.
The most common glyphs are the attack glyphs, which increase the ATK substats of Artifacts by a flat value. They are particularly useful for classes that are ranged, such as Warriors and Rogues. The Exploit Glyph makes enemies who hit the Hero vulnerable to damaging effects.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens can be used for rerolling a result rolled during an Action. They are removed when the reroll occurs. Reroll tokens are accessible in many ways, like dungeons and raids, or by participating in skirmishes. They can also be purchased at the store or purchased from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons and trials since they allow players to reroll the rewards of the final chest.
Recycle points are available for items at the level 1. When an item is recycled, it will add a certain amount of points to the upgrade gauge. This number will increase according to the item's level and rarity. Additionally the upgraded
Item Upgrader Mod won't retain its level when rerolled and the cost of recycling an upgraded item increases with its level.
The player may also use reroll tokens in order to make an
item upgrading rerollable. However it will not bring back the item's original stats or levels. This is useful for players who want to reroll a product they don't like and want to keep it in their collection.
Three different kinds of upgrade coins are available in the game: the reroll, the randomly generated, and upgrade. Each type comes with its own subtypes. Reroll tokens, for instance, come in three types of rarity: legendary, rare and enhanced. Each requires an item of the level of its respective to make the new item with the same quality.
To make use of reroll tokens, right-click on the Satanic or Angelic item in the inventory and select "Reroll Token". Select a type of token. The tokens available include Item Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The
item upgrader kit token can be used to create a brand new Item in any quality. Using a Weapon or Misc token will result in an entirely new weapon belonging to the same faction.
There is also a chance that the
Best item upgrade will be upgraded to a new item with a higher level and the same extra stats. This will occur if the item has been placed in the Non-Droppable Pool or was transferred there as part of the franchise card.
