When you're searching for a light double-stroller that folds, the size and weight are important factors to consider. Selecting a stroller that is easy to handle and compact when not in use will make it easier to place in the trunk of your car, and to maneuver through airport gates and foreign streets.

The best strollers that are lightweight have a lightweight, easy fold and self-standing mechanisms to reduce stress on parent bodies. Several also have a wide range of seating configurations and can accommodate infant car seat carriers.

Kolcraft Cloud Plus

Designed for the family on the go. Lightweight and easy to carry in one hand compact fold. The front suspension and all-terrain wheel, as well as the multi-position reclining seats can accommodate children weighing up 50 pounds. Trays for both children and parents, large storage basket and 3-tier extended canopy with windows that peek out to maximize sun protection.

The Cloud received one of the lowest marks in our tests of quality because it has a thin seat, made of hard plastic, and a design that appears outdated. It's also more expensive than other strollers with a lighter weight. This makes it a poor option for those seeking the cheapest option.

It's not the most light stroller but it has enough features to be worth considering. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to maneuver on flat surfaces and it is able to jump over curbs with ease unlike many other light strollers that diverge when trying to do the similar thing. The Cloud's low, knee-high handle is a drawback. It's not adjustable and it's not adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push with your legs hanging in the air, and it doesn't help that it's not cushioned.

During our tests, we discovered the Cloud to be easy to set up and open. It's a little more challenging to close, however; you have to slide a slider, and then press a large white button to get it ready to grow double stroller collapse. It can be quite frustrating particularly if you're trying to keep track of kids at the same time.

The Cloud comes with a small but deep storage basket that could accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is a bit narrow and you may have to leave something in there to reach the back. The Cloud comes with an adult tray and a child tray, each with two cup holders. Both are too small for larger bottles or cups.

Kolcraft is an established family business that has been in existence since 1946. They began by making crib pads and diapers however, they now manufacture a variety of baby products, including highchairs and infant car seats. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS

Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist design, which is perfect for traveling. It's extremely light at 18lbs (lighter than many single to double stroller strollers!) and can fold flat for easy transport and storage. It also features independently reclining seats and large all-weather SPF 50 sun visors that have windows that peek out and extra-large storage bags underneath the seat. The visors are adjustable to accommodate kids of different heights. Plus, it has one-step linked parking brake that is Disney-sized approved.

The swivel wheel of the Jeep is also great for maneuvering over bumps and uneven terrain. This stroller is not compatible with car seats. Your child must be at minimum six months old and possess an excellent neck control in order to be able to ride in the front seat. It does have three panels of a nice sun canopy, however and each seat comes with its own snack tray, as well as parent cupholders.

Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is a different incredibly light stroller that can be used side by side. It's a little heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 pounds, but it's narrow and slim (26.5 inches wide!) It's packed with elegant details that make it perfect for travel. It has a super simple fold, is extremely maneuverable and can be tucked away in the overhead compartments of airplanes and trunks easily.

It's similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has some key distinctions. It's also slightly more expensive, but it also has greater maneuverability and the largest sun canopy. It also has a convenient carry strap and can accommodate kids up to 44 lbs per seat.

Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+

If you're looking for a stroller that is lightweight but also loaded with features look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just lightweight, weighing just 13 pounds but also has a lot of storage options, including cupholders for both parents and children, a child's sippy-cup pouch and a parent's storage pouch, etc. The twin umbrella Stroller can also be used with a child's chair and has a brake that flips that is easy to engage. This stroller is designed to grow along with your child. It can be transformed from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller by attaching car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months and up.

Another thing to note about this stroller is that it only has swivel wheels and doesn't come with locking features therefore it may not be the best option for terrain that is rocky or hilly. It is able to maneuver well on paved sidewalks and other smooth surfaces it's an excellent option for most families.

This is among the smallest and light double strollers that comes with full-size features. It can be folded by one hand and then stored in the trunk or garage. It is also able to be used as a travel stroller and is compatible with all car seats without the need for extra adapters.

It also has a big canopy that we found to be more effective at blocking the sun's rays than other strollers in our review of the best double strollers.

The stroller is lightweight enough to to move through door frames. This was an important issue with other strollers we tried. It folds quickly, and its handlebars are close to the ground, making it easy carrying. Its only flaw is its relatively small storage space, which feels tight when stuffed with things for kids.
