CNET's top-rated models will be available for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.

It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. The most significant innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. This uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, so that you can instruct the robot to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, removing dirt and spills with ease without leaving any trace that was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't sweep areas you do not want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it by voice.

The design is also more appealing than the competition. It has an elegant, top piece that appears like toys rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. Clean Base's automatic vacuum cleaners Dirt Disposal It also self-empties which can cut down on cleaning time.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one place rather than sending it scattering across the floor. It was able to collect sand, small gravel and even a tiny bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot accomplish this feat. It did all without getting caught up in our pet's hair.

The j7+, although not as intelligent as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and it cannot clean the stairs, it's a good option for those who need both mopping and a vacuum. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and often it's difficult to tell whether the update is working until you've seen it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your best robot vacuum for large house option is probably one that is a hybrid. This type of robot typically has a built-in water tank, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your house at the same time. They also come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be expensive at retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and although it's not equipped with some of the premium features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing sacrifice a little to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles like table legs and walls which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to getting rid of dust bunnies which is a place which many robot vacuum cleaner black friday vacuums often fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls and in corners.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled using the buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map or re-label rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+, it comes with a brand new best auto vacuum-empty dock specifically designed to make the machine easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place emptying the bin can be done without difficulty. It also comes with a large LCD display that is great to have when creating schedules or changing settings. This isn't an essential feature for the majority of people however it can aid in keeping the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is one of the top in the market however, it's costly.

The base station is attractive and is hidden when it's not in use, and its size is quite compact. But the station's biggest selling feature is the way it automatizes many tasks and functions that other robots leave up to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's one of the few robovacs I've tested that does very well at collecting debris from unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs. This means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of your home. It also can't climb stairs like other competitors and doesn't come with a dock that can create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who want an automated vacuum that can do it all.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of alternatives available. A lot of eufy models are considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers a similar in-app experience with additional features such as the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, an Anker company, has a track record of producing robot vacuums that strike the right balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpeted floors, as well as mopping capabilities for a low cost. It's simple to set up, just snap on one of the side brush, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to leave the dock near a power outlet and enough space for it to move, however.

The G30 is a small device that measures 2.85 inches in height, so it will be tucked away under couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is less ostentatious when compared to rival models. It features a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral fashion over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its rivals. It makes use of an integrated map to create a picture of the immovable items in its path. It remembers what it has already cleaned and what it is unable to access. If it requires a recharge, it will automatically return to its base, and then resumes cleaning where it began.

The eufy G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower recurring costs. It is faster to charge, has a similar battery life, and performs better on bare flooring or carpet with a low pile. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as frequently and comes with a set of boundaries to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't need to be empty as often and has less difficulty handling bulky products such as cereal.
