If you're on a budget and don't want a stroller that doubles into a car seat carrier The Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop user-friendly.

It's simple to push, and it feels solid when traversing kerbs and woodland trails. Additionally, it's easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation for being the ultimate stroller that is lightweight, suitable for urban dwellers as well as jet-setters. This is due to its super nimble maneuverability and fold-down design that can be incorporated into the overhead baggage of an aircraft. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as a pram. It can also be converted to a stroller by 6 months using the YOYO connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a fantastic choice for parents looking for an adaptable stroller wagon. The Evenflo Xplore can be converted from a single stroller sale into the wagon by turning the handle. Parents can then decide the best single stroller mode for their journey. The wagon can hold one or two kids from 6 months old to 5 years, and it comes with a large storage basket to accommodate all of your on-the-go needs.

The Xplore comes with two canopy options that can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than other wagons. This isn't suitable for long trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore feels solid and sturdy but it doesn't have the same flexibility as other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and it isn't able to lock securely when folded. It is easy to move however, and it can fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents who are seeking a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and fold size, which means it's very light, compact when folded and easy to move into a car trunk or closet. It also features an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other key features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.

In our test of the push and turn, it did better than most of the other strollers of a similar price we tested, but it's still not the most comfortable to maneuver over uneven ground or through doorways that are narrow. The sunshades are among the smallest we tested, offering only direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together with an average manual and all of the components required tools. It is missing certain features we consider essential in double strollers. They include a large basket, reclining seats, and leg rests that can be adjusted.

The Zelia is the latest addition to Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is billed as an urban travel system. It can be used from birth until 3.5-years-old. The carrycot and seat can be converted easily with only a few clicks. It is compatible with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It includes a light Mico 30 infant seat, a car-base that stays in the car and a reversible car seat.

The seat can be reclined using one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it simple for parents to take their child in and out. Despite being a narrow pushchair it handled the bumps of everyday life well and went through doorways without a hitch.

The front wheels can be locked into forward positions or allow them to rotate which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel during our walk on the stony path. It handled the situation well, even though it felt a little rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is most famous for its 3-wheeled, all-terrain, jogging strollers. But they also make a broad selection of pushchairs with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is simple to fold and can fit in the car's boot even with an attached carrycot.

It's heavier than other strollers that we tried, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains and even with two kids with shopping bags and other things.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that can be lowered to reveal a UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are water-resistant and durable unlike other prams' hoods that get bounced back into toddlers' faces.

It does not have much storage space, but it comes with a large basket deep enough to hold a changing bag or plenty of groceries. You can also connect it with a Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you need a stroller that is able to be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first came onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents everywhere. It's an aluminium framed stroller that will be with you throughout your baby's first years and beyond. It's got a lot of standout features, such as the capacity of the seat to be flipped between parent and world facing as well as a large UPF50+ canopy with a flip-out eyeshade, and an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis comes with a built-in suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam, which reduces punctures. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets without difficulty.

It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It can also stand and be rolled around for easier transportation in the boot of your car or down the stairs at home. The travel system is also available with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes have a small single stroller action and are color coded. They also are compatible with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget pushchair is easy to operate and features an excellent dual suspension. It folds by one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also super lightweight and sturdy. The seat can be reclined into many different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress built in that is suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat has two large sun visors that can be either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal since it's not as silent as Velcro, and can wake up napping babies.

The Duet is an angled stroller that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and works with a few carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be positioned to face each other or turn around and face the parents, theoretically decreasing sibling fights over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a big gear tray as well as a bottle holder and snack trays. It also has a superior compact stand fold, and an automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the perfect jogger for parents who love to be active. It is one of the lightest strollers that you can purchase for your child. It also comes with great safety features, including a 5-point safety harness as well as a wrist safety straps. It comes with a different kind of hand brake unlike other models, which is an innovative twist.

The seat is well-padded and offers a large area to sit in, however the seat's depth is lower than other joggers we've tested (it's about 10"). The storage bin is encased with a zipper to keep things safe. It can hold up to 10 pounds that is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets for infants or car seats as it comes, but you can use it right from the start with the purchase of adapters for most seats by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to put together with no tools. The instruction manual is easy to read and contains a variety of languages.
