The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customised using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your home as well as set up cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A feature for avoiding obstacles will stop it from running into furniture, wires, or stray toys. These features are essential for my home that is filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it is naturally packed with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in one session, and it can even lift its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It can also avoid obstacles by spotting pets, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on a surface.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad that is more than 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also features an automatic vacuum and mop robot mop lifting system, that will raise the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can set it and forget it, and only need to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it began to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is at the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

This is a very robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being the fact that it's costly. The number of features makes it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can afford the hefty price tag we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its high-end price is justified by its robust features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It also has an app-based controller that is smart and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the home. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of the debris on any type of floor and was able to lift hair that was long without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement and a strong dose cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dust bin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank for mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mop I tried. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station, dustbag, and water tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, which are bought separately are required to be replaced regularly too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. For those who are on a budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot vacuum that mops vacuum and robotic mop you could buy but its cost and constant maintenance will make it seem more a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to get rid of messes and remove dirt from your floors. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs a strong suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery that can be used for both vacuuming and mowing, and top-notch obstacles-avoiding. It has a mop with a roller that cleans by itself and makes it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. Its roller runs almost the full width of the bot and is constantly supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. As it rotates the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and then pumped into a larger storage bin. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do most robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaners.

Like most robots that vacuum and mop like it, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map the area and was able to navigate around furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum. However, it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start the full map and then take care to clean everything that is that the device maps, or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've created. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the area.

Like all the Roborock models we've examined The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a neat manner. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, however it's not as sophisticated as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's a good workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the last traces and dust that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that helps this robot cleaner clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
