The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using a specialized application. You can save maps of your house as well as organize cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, and how much water your mop uses.
A mapping feature helps your robot navigate rooms while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These are must-have features in my house, stuffed with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It's able to mop and sweep in a single session and even lift its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from getting too damp. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pets, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vac we've tested. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also has mop lifter that lifts the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to prevent soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsed and dried in the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. You will only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop and
Robot Vacuum uk vac-settings for about 160 minutes before it began to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only downside is that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features makes it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the cost we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The high price is justified by the powerful features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well across the house. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and managed to lift hair that was long without tangling. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its multifunctional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, fills up the water tank for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It also has a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its intelligent controls.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. In addition, its mops aren't as capable at scrubbing away tough stains like those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. The mop pads sold separately will also require changing regularly.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. For those who are on a smaller budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can find however, its cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a want than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors while cleaning up wet mess you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination has a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It has a roller-mop that cleans by itself, making it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the bot, and it is constantly dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements before being then pumped into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds plenty of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do most robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other
robot vacuum cleaners best brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did most robots. It was fast to map a room, and it easily navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides many functions at a an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have several impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can clean manually every area that is mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've created. There are several mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the space.
Like all the Roborock models we've tested like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is reliable that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a systematic way. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, with no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.
This device has a major issue: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice feature and helps this robot clean up a little bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
