Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your home, set up cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune how much water and scrub action your mop makes use of.
A mapping function can help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles helps it avoid running over wires, furniture or other toys. These features are vital in my home that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, which is why it's a natural choice to be packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and lift its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The
robot vacuum cleaners uk vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested up to now. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on a surface.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, only having to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank occasionally.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I used it on its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids I've tried.
It's a complete and robust product, with the only downside being the fact that it's costly. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to ditch their old stick vacuums and mop. If you can afford the cost, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combo. The premium price is justified by the robust features, including a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it was able to perform very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no tangling. The mops were also great, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the real selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock empties its dustbin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank for mopping and dry its mop pads for you. It also comes with an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its intelligent controls.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be cleaned out, and the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads that are sold separately will also require changing regularly.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features I would highly recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're on a budget I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could find, its high price and ongoing maintenance will make it seem more an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to get rid of messes and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo has a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also has a huge battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It is also equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It has a mop with a roller that is self-cleaning, making it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of fresh Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. As it rotates, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements, and then emptied into a larger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a substantial amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do in the cleaning dock. You can also add a
cleaning robot mop and vacuum solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you choose this feature, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow users to select their own choice of cleaning products.
The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did most
robots that vacuum and mop. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing however this can be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers lots of features at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have several impressive features. Its multifunction dock empties the
robot vacuum cleaners best's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The app that runs this appliance is dense, offering a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate an entire map and clear everything that's been that the device maps, or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones or even a routine you've set up. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.
Like all Roborock models we've evaluated The Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is robust that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a systematic fashion. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it's not as sophisticated as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels.
One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be an issue for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a simple solution: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up" at the conclusion of each vacuuming session. This allows you to use the vacuum's mopping capability to get rid of the last remnants of dust and debris that you've left behind from the vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum keep its cleanness a bit higher than its competitors with lower prices.
