robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgIf you're looking to tidy up mess fast, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacs and mops that I have tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation and are able to pick up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.

They're also easy to use with an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're doing.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum. It comes with the most recent features. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile and was able to pick up human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek interface that includes a mini map of your house and some on-screen buttons for manual control.

Another standout feature is the S8's ability to alter its cleaning mode in accordance with dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will wash its mopping pads more frequently when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas are given priority for mopping using mopping pads that are damp.

It's got a host of other features that are smart as well, including a different dock that connects to your home plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller, without having you to manually refill it. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 you can make use of voice commands to specify the cleaning mode of your room and provide precise control with just your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum with mopping capabilities The Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile options. It's part of a litany of robot vacuums that also include mops however it's priced at a lower price than many of the competitors.

Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This involves establishing an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done the robot is able to begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.

It's important to note that mapping takes quite a while and it could take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but got stuck on a rug with tassels that it needed to turn to release itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do it all.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned, not just swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can get to places robot vacuums cannot.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional clever features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home's layout better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to customize a number of settings, including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging station after each task to clean their pads and empty their dust bins, and place debris into the self-sealing bags. This helps keep the system tidy and stops allergens from recirculating. The battery's life is enough to clean large areas without requiring an additional charge during cleaning.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop that has impressive features for an affordable price. It has powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets, and an excellent obstacle-avoiding. It also has a unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly sprayed with water to collect dirt and deposit it in the water tank.

Its navigation technology was effective and was able to navigate close to walls without falling and avoiding stairs. However, it did struggle with fine engrained debris and wasn't always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also high, so it may be a less reliable set-and-forget model than other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking technology that allows it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dust bin and dry and wash the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in a routine schedule. Eufy's app allows you to manage all of its functions. It provides an easy overview and a variety of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums available that are available. It offers amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can detect furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent accuracy, and the application lets users fine-tune the coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is designed to stop hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with intelligent carpet detection, lifting these pads upward when they're near soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating them with.

The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops before refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuum cleaner best vacuums which empty their dust bins each time they have to be emptied.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 and this robot is a slick job at keeping my home office spotless and also take on the corners of my tight apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your home and knows where not to go. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop), unlike many vacuums.

Other great features include a self emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also customize the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.

Similar to the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between carpets, laminate and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to save time. If you have a wide range of flooring options in your home and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features, this is a great choice.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum that vacuums and mops vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this robot is a good option. It comes with a wide range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings through the app. It's extremely quiet, and it's able to maneuver around furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to pick up tangled rug tassels up and it drains its battery quicker than other models we've tried.

With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and handy automation into a sleek. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It will even automatically remove and reattach the mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in smaller areas. It's extremely quick and quiet and it is able to navigate tight spaces efficiently. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than its rivals however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take pictures of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they are not removed in future cleanings. The photos are encrypted and not tied to you account.

It is capable of vaccuming, however it isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that clip onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across the floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
