Substats
The sub-stats of an artifact are random but can be improved by several ways. Sub-stats don't increase with each upgrade like the main stats. They can be increased randomly on any of the slots. The number of sub-stats that an artifact can have is determined by its rank, with the Rank 2 having no sub-stats at all, and 5 being the highest ranked with five. Each sub-status has a range of rarity that it can be produced in.
If you want a higher chance of obtaining a particular sub-stat you can use REFINE ARTIFACTS to increase the chance by four levels. This will cost you MORA. Another way to increase the sub-stats of an item is to search for duplicates of it. You can then enhance duplicates to increase their value or have a different set of sub-stats. This is a great method for players with high levels to boost their character's DPS. However, you must be careful not to overdo it and risk losing your MORA.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens let players play a second time with the
item upgrades currently being used by an item. Rerolling the item will result in an upgrade to level 1 with different bonuses and a brand new kind of equipment. In some instances it is possible to significantly increase its level of ilvl. However, the item will not maintain its ilvl Rerolling is useful if the item has rare affixes.
Rerolling an object resets its base power, all upgrades and substats. This is helpful if a ring's substats are not what the player wants or if the band's maximum power was less than the one desired. Reroll tokens is available from various sources such as the skulled creatures, the mystery box or as a reward for defeating the boss.
Weapons, armor, rings and other accessories can all be transformed. Weapons can be rerolled in physical power, spell power, or health. Rings can be rerolled for damage or durability, while armor can be rerolled to reduce damage or increase defense. In addition, rerolling an item that is crafted will create an item that is rare-like and the same characteristics as the item used in the recipe. A rerolled item does not keep its owner's level, and any resources thrown away will not be compensated.
The process of rerolling is done by pressing the green button with circles of arrows in the menu of items. But the button will not be displayed on any item that is currently being used by an item. In order to roll an
item upgrading, the player must have at least one re-roll token in their inventory. This button will require the player to select the stat they want to reroll and then confirm the action. In some instances, the reroll may take longer than anticipated. The rerolling system has many possible combinations. In such cases the player could use an additional re-roll token in order to accelerate the process.
Item level
Item level is a key measure of the power of an item. Players can use it to evaluate the different items and choose which one is more suitable for their playstyle. The item level lets players upgrade their gear that is rated as overpowered by the community. It's important to understand that item level isn't a planned development option, but rather an opportunity to differentiate items in the game currently.
The levels of the item are determined by the average ilvl of the player's equipped gear, including the main hand and off-hand weapons. It includes the ilvls of every gear slot that is upgradeable, but does not include tabards and shirts. This includes rings and cloaks and neck, chest, shoulders back wrists, hands, feet legs, waist and weapons on the off-hand. The Ilvl is considered twice as the off-hand and the main hand have different iLevels.
The iLevel of an item determines the stat priority it will receive. Depending on the spec and class some stats are more valuable than others. Crit rating, for example is costly, while haste ratings can be inexpensive. Item level also determines how much of an budget of the item's ilvl on secondary and primary stats and how much is left for procs and effects.
It is important to have the right equipment for your character. This will allow you to move faster through the game and gain access to new areas. The higher the level of your item the more damage you can do in PvP.
You'll need the proper materials to upgrade an item. For weapons, this will mean Destruction Stones; for armor, it's Guardian Stones and Harmony Leapstones. These items can be obtained through clearing content up to the item level of your character. In addition you can buy items from the Auction House. Beware of auction prices, as they can be quite expensive. If you're looking to save money, think about buying products from a seller who is selling items at a reduced price.
