WoW Upgrades - The
Item Upgrader (
Https://Click4R.Com)
Upgrades can give you boosts in certain statistics. Each
upgrade items increases item level by 3. A random substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.
The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for those with higher variance due to the need to roll the perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used to upgrade will be consumed forever and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.
The upgrader is located in every major city, and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear current it is recommended you visit the upgrader each few weeks.
The cost of upgrading will depend on the current item level of the gear being upgraded but they will always be cheaper than buying new equipment from other sources. For example, upgrading a Benthic chest piece to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, purchasing a similar piece from another player will costs 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are items that can be used for weapons, armor, tools, and accessory upgrades. They are purchased by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for various currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be applied to any tool, weapon or armor. The button will show a preview of an item's next level of upgrade, if there are enough materials.
The cost of upgrading is based on the slot of the item and the current level of the item as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than bracers or gloves, for example. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a number of crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to lower the cost of Flightstones or crests that are used. After an item has been upgraded to a certain level, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower cost.
Item upgraders can be found in a variety of locations, including the main island, as well as a few outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon and the chance to obtain an entirely new recipe. The discount for upgrades increases according to the number of items that are being upgraded. It is also possible to be increased by requiring players to complete specific achievements or quests.
In contrast to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II there is no item upgrader available at the start of Icewind Dale. The NPCs who can facilitate upgrades are only accessible through a variety means. This is both a positive and an issue.
In Season 3, the upgrade system has been modified a bit, and some new features added. Once an upgrade has been completed to a certain level of item for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same item level will cost less. This is regardless of whether the items come from a different set of gear.
The amount of Valorstones needed for upgrades is decreased, and the discount is available across all accounts. In the same way, the amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is also reduced and is not available until players reach certain milestones in their achievement.
Crests
Players have several options when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specific, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1, and come in four ranks.
The first thing to remember is that the crests can only be purchased for gear of a certain rank. Each rank has distinct upgrade paths. The simplest and easiest upgrade is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade can require up to 20 crests, contingent on the type of equipment that is being upgraded.
Players can obtain crests by working through content that is of the appropriate level, whether that involves walking around and performing outdoor activities for gear of lower tiers, raids or dungeons with any difficulty for higher-tier items, or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses or dungeons for gear that is used in the endgame. These crests can be exchanged with an item upgrader, such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn, in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and routes.
Utilizing these new currencies isn't too difficult, but the system does introduce some changes to the overall upgrade process. For instance, when an item is at the highest upgrade level of any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change is designed to allow players to get their equipment up to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters rather than relying solely on seasonal loot.
It's also essential to use crests with care, since they have only one purpose. For instance it's
Best item upgrader to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the best gear you have available and save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you plan to make. This is especially applicable to items like trinkets and rings that fill multiple slots. The discount for the entire account will only be applicable if all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
