1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive
robot vacuums uk vacuum cleaners best [
Learn Even more] vacuums and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set up schedules and modify the behavior of the S1.
When I tried the S1, it was able to identify our downstairs, which is home to linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, as well as carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them, and even managed to cross raised room thresholds with no issue, though it occasionally struggled to get down stairs in a single move. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it reached carpets or rug.
The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. To do this, you'll need to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8700Pa of suction and comes with many innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than simply dragging a pad across the surface. Mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station, if needed.
This robot combo is easy to set up and use, with a clear interface that walks you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically emptied or filled. It also has a number of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily removes all kinds of debris, including the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are decent, but it can be stuck on small mats and rugs at my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent and include a pair of mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our best mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush will give you a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on carpets and hard floors. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate tiny spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a step. It can move from one area to another without reversing direction which is a great feature for homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a large margin between obstacles. This can lead to missed spots.
Its app has a streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, adjust suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. But, you'll require a reliable internet connection to use it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of removing debris and dirt, but it can't always reach every last particle of dust. It is important to clean frequently, every week. This is especially important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is designed to do just that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on price by eliminating mopping and using a cheaper plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to mop floors, the Q5 has some of the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen on a robot in this price range. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also features a smart application that lets you choose your floor type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops also impress with their 2700Pa power that can combat pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested did not show a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it was able to not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't surprising because it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home this will allow it to enter the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. This device also collects dust in a larger bin that means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs. The robot can also recognize carpets and boost the suction when needed. You can also mark off areas you want the
robot hoover and mop to avoid using the app.
