Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you need to clean up messes quickly then a robot vacuum and mop is the best way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops in my tests have top-notch mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.
They're also easy to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're looking for the
best robot vacuum and mop combination that has cutting-edge features consider the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile, and it picked up human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek interface that includes a mini map of your house and a few on-screen buttons for manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to adjust the cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt. It will clean its mopping pads more frequently when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas get priority for mopping using mopping pads that are damp.
It's got a host of other innovative features also, including an alternative dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to clean and wash the mop roller, without having refilling it manually. You can also make use of voice commands using the S8's built-in voice assistant that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify room cleaning, modes, and granular control options with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for an automated
robot vacuum that mops vacuum that is hands-free with mopping capabilities. It's one of a variety of robot vacuums that also include mops but is priced at a lower cost than most of the competition.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to begin, which includes creating an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've done this, the robot will start vacuuming and mops effortlessly.
It's important to note that the mapping process may take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate image of your space. In addition the detection of objects can be difficult to determine and it was able to get around furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to turn itself over to free itself. But these are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those who need an all-in-one solution for cleaning.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home
cleaning robot mop and vacuum solution. Its advanced mopping features an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned and not just being swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach spots even robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is essentially the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa and some additional intelligent features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to customize a number of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and place debris into the self-sealing bags. This keeps the system tidy and also stops allergens from circulating. Its battery longevity is sufficient to cover large areas without needing a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more top-quality robot vacuums and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for carpets and hard floors and an excellent obstacles-avoiding. It also has an unique mopping method that utilizes a roller continuously sprayed with water to collect dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of steps and walked close to walls without crashing. However, it did struggle with fine-grained debris and didn't always get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. Its operating noise level is also quite high, which suggests it could be less of a "set-and-forget" model than others.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking systems that allow it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dustbin and dry and wash the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to a regular schedule. Eufy's app lets you control all its functions. It provides a clear overview with plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot mowers and vacuums available, and it provides amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision. The app lets users fine-tune map coverage, create no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that rotate at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system is equipped with intelligent carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they're near soft surfaces to avoid contamination.
The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free center for maintenance which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their bins of dust every time they have to be empty.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8, this robot is a slick job at keeping my home office spotless and also take on the corners of my tight apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to create an outline of your space, so it knows where to stay away from. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop, it has object/obstacle detection that is able to avoid things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop).
It also has some outstanding notable features, like a self-emptying dustbin and a mop pad self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also customize the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
Like the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. And, if you're looking to save time, it can skip mopping in rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't wish to spend more money on a Roborock that has advanced mapping features this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice when you're seeking a flexible robot that can handle regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups for wet messes. It comes with a variety of features that include a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and customizable settings via the app. It's extremely quiet, and it can move around furniture legs and socks with ease. It's unable to pick up tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains faster than other models we've test.
With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and handy automation into a sleek. It didn't score quite as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It also offers a range of cleaning modes to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for carpeted rooms. It also has the capability to automatically remove and replace mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot
autonomous vacuum and mop that can be used even in small spaces. It's fast and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces well. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it's possible to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys or socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they don't get removed during subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure, and not tied to you account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, but it isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
