1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO

The i3+ EVO is similar to its sibling i3 EVO. They differ only in the fact that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. That makes the i3+ a good option for those who want an automated, hands-free cleaning experience but don't mind having to empty their dust bin manually when it fills up.

Both robots excel at cleaning up surface debris from carpets and hard floors, and they're excellent at maneuvering around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes a smart map of your home to assist the i3+ to navigate and clean efficiently. The i3+ does not feature obstacle avoidance features like the i7+ or any other top-rated robots we have test. It may be stuck on power cords and socks and have trouble moving between different surfaces, like rug and hardwood.

iRobot suggests that you clear areas that the i3+ EVO will auto vacuum cleaner prior to when you use it, including getting rid of any toys or clutter it may encounter. Also, keep the filters and dust bin free of dirt to prevent them from getting blocked. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is low it returns to the docking station, and it automatically empties the dirt into the station's external dustbin. It then continues cleaning where it began. The i3+ EVO's batteries last for approximately an hour and a half of continuous use, and takes around three hours to fully recharge.

2. iRobot Roomba i7+

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model of the flagship line from iRobot, and it is equipped with the most recent features. It's self-charging, self-navigating, and the most important feature of all -- it has a self-emptying dustbin that eliminates one of the most important sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.

The Roomba i7+ can keep up to 10 floor plans and their names thanks to Imprint Smart Mapping, an application that allows it to map rooms so it can clean them more efficiently. It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning jobs and control your robot with voice or via the app.

The i7+ is quicker and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from any surface including carpeting. Its main advantage over the eufy the dust bin is self-emptying that eliminates a major source of maintenance and cuts down on the cost of maintenance.

We were also impressed with the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot on how to start or stop cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room and vacuum a particular area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and straightforward using the iRobot Home app. Once connected, to give voice commands to the i7+, for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and monitoring performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

In a world filled with cordless vacs that look like minivans or buses, this small Dyson model is an old-fashioned sports car. It's powerful enough to replace a traditional stand-up vacuum in the majority of homes, but it is also compact enough to fit on a bookcase or coffee table.

The V10 is powered by a 7-cell energy-dense lithium-ion battery which produces continuous, non-fading power for 60 minutes. Its advanced whole-machine filtration system captures allergens and expels clean air back into your home. The specialized head uses rigid nylon bristles to drive deep into carpets and collect large dust or crumbs. It has three suction modes that can be adapted to the task. It quickly switches from floor vac to handheld vacuum and back again.

The model comes with a dock which charges the Dyson to 100 percent in 3.5 hours. It also gives easy access to 2 attachments as well as the handheld. This is a huge improvement over earlier Dysons models, which take a long time to charge and are a pain to store.

The main issue with the V10 is its limited running time. The tests conducted by CR show that its advertising claims of up to 60 minutes are a bit misleading. This is a standard battery-powered cordless vacuum's running time. This is enough time to vacuum a typical-sized home, but not enough to get into every corner. (A second pass generally works). This model has its own advantages however: it's light and more maneuverable than earlier Dysons cordless models and its ability to vacuum is significantly better on low-pile floor carpet.

4. iRobot Roomba 694

One of iRobot's most popular robot vacuums The 694 is an entry-level model that's a great choice for people who don't wish to spend too much on a robotic. It was able to pick up the majority of types of debris in our tests, and frequently went over the same area many times to give an extensive clean. Its flat front side helps it reach into corners and along the edges of walls which is a nice feature.

Its smart navigation system uses iAdapt to stay clear of obstacles and navigate your home, but it lacks the mapping capability of more advanced models like our top picks and the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. Because of this, it can sometimes get stuck on things like phone cords or furniture that isn't as sturdy, and frequently runs out of battery power before making it back to its original location.

The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways over the Roomba 694 in that it has fewer components that require regular cleaning, comes with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtering system, has a lower cost of recurring costs and has more advanced automation capabilities and is able to better maneuver itself. It also has a bigger dustbin and is charged faster.

The eufy RoboVac X8 is superior to the Roomba 694 for a variety of purposes, because it has a better battery life, the ability to change its suction power mode manually and has physical boundary strips, and can be controlled by your smartphone's voice assistant. It's also more robust, has a more powerful motor, and performs better on low-pile and bare floors.

5. Samsung Jet Bot AI+

Samsung is a name that is seen on a variety of electronic gadgets for your home So it's no surprise that they're also one of the most popular mop and robot vacuum manufacturers. Jet Bot AI+ has a cutting-edge onboard technology to navigate and avoid obstacles.

The app offers a variety of options for customizing your robotic cleaner. These include virtual barriers, mopping levels and behavior modifications docking frequency settings, and much more. The app is easy to use and understand as are other Samsung devices.

In our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors, and cleaned up 86 percent of dog hair (on carpet). However, it didn't do particularly well in avoiding taller objects like cords and socks which was disappointing. It's also more expensive than other models we've tested, and this could be a deterrent for certain shoppers.

The smart vacuum, stroycity33.ru, has an onboard camera that you can access through the app, and you can also create a live stream from the robot's automatic cleaning robot station. This feature lets you to check in on your pets or children while you're away. The dustbin and the filter can be washed for an easy, quick clean-up. The app allows you to alter the LED lights on the top of the vacuum so that you can discern where it is focusing or if it's stuck.

The app makes it possible to manually steer the robot, if necessary. My living room rug, for instance is darkly colored which could cause a problem for other robots. The HRV 425BL, however continued to travel across the border without ever registering the cliff. And the ability to set up weekly cleaning schedules is a wonderful time-saving benefit.
