This robotic vacuum-mop is a great option for those living in apartments since it uses an economized docking system and comes with its own trash bin. Its app lets you set up various modes and monitor the cleaning. The mopping feature is also very impressive.

Its mapping, obstacle avoidance, and the mops are stunning. It can pick up pet hair, spillages and dirt. It also self-empties and self-cleans and refills its water tank.

iRobot Roomba Combination

The iRobot Combo adds mopping to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot hoover and mop. The iRobot Combo doesn't quite replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient at cleaning, and comes with a mobile app that is more user-friendly, but it's a good alternative. In our tests it was consistently able to remove dirt of all kinds and sizes from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance system isn't among the most advanced in the world, as it lacks structured light and other features like LiDAR, yet it managed to prevent most collisions with furniture and clutter.

The Combo has many of the same smarts that the J7 Plus has, such as an onboard acoustic sensor to determine the floor's type and AI-powered Navigation, but it's not able to set suction power manually. It's also less compact than its vacuum-only counterpart and it doesn't have a self-empty dock.

The Combo is one of my favorites for homes with a lot of space. Its sleek design is also one of the most attractive I've seen in the industry. The clean, matte black plastic looks better than the majority of competitors' metallic or glossy finishes, and iRobot's little touches--like a leather tab to open the bin on the board and a shelf in the dock to hold extra bags--are classier than the majority of its competitors'. The iRobot Combo makes it easy to create maps and establish Keep-Out Zones.

Although Roborock is relatively new to the robotic vacuum and mop market but it's already made its mark because of its innovative cleaning techniques. Its vacuums feature industry-leading suction capabilities, while the mopping systems of the brand include vibrating mops that help scrub floors clean. Plus, a wide range of scheduling and mapping options allow you to fine-tune the bot's cleaning schedule for your specific home.

Another amazing Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance which allows the robot to detect objects lower than its height. This is particularly useful for Roborock's most popular models, such as the Qrevo Master. It is the best of its kind when it comes to navigation, due to the combination of vSLAM, and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been known to slam into pet waste and slam furniture, without even noticing. The Qrevo Master, however, solves this issue with a Reactive Artificial Intelligence system which makes use of dual cameras to perceive the presence of objects in the room.
