If you're looking to tidy up messes quickly and efficiently, a robot
auto vacuum and mop and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops I test had superior mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as wires that were strung up.
They're also user-friendly with an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and check on how they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
If you're searching for the most effective robot vacuum and mop combo with bleeding-edge features you should look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish app interface with a mini map of your house and some on-screen buttons to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to alter the cleaning mode in accordance with the amount of dirt. It will wash its mopping pads more often when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas are given the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
The mop roller has several other clever features, such as docks that connects to your home plumbing system to wash and clean it without having to refill the mop. You can even use voice commands with the S8's built-in voice assistant, saying "Hey Rocky" to specify the cleaning of your room, modes, and granular controls with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for a hands free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities. It's one of many combo robot vacuums with mopping capabilities that are priced lower than the competition.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to start, including setting up an account with the app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've done that, the robot will begin vacuuming and mopping easily.
It's worth noting that the mapping process takes a while and it could take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection feature is hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a rug with tassels that it had to flip over to get it out of the way. However, these aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those who want an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbing. This means that floors are cleaned, not just cleaned. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach areas that robot vacuums can't.
This model is nearly identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few other smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home better and offer dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you customize the settings of your choice, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each job to clean their pads, empty the dust bins and put the debris in a self sealing bag. This helps to keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from returning to the system. The battery's life is enough to remove large areas without the need for an additional charge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more top-quality robot vacuums and mop models that are available, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It features an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets, and a fantastic obstacle-avoiding. It also has a unique mopping system, that uses a roller that is continuously filled with water to pick up dirt and deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology was effective in navigating close to walls without crashing and avoiding steps. It struggled with small particles and did not always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also relatively high, and it could be less of a set-and-forget model than other models.
Like most robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to a routine schedule. You can manage all of its functions using the Eufy app. It provides an overview of the system and plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the
best automatic vacuum and mop mowers and vacuums on the market. It provides impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with decent precision. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones and alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which is an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with intelligent carpet detection, which lifts the pads up when they're near soft surfaces to avoid contaminating them.
The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free maintenance centre that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they need to be emptied.
6. S10
This robot is just a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my home office tidy. It is also able to reach all corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your space, so it knows where to stay away from. In addition, unlike other vacuums that can mop it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop).
It has other great highlights, such as the self-emptying dust bin and a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can reach places that other mops don't. You can also customize the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rug. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can skip mopping in rooms that aren't filthy. It's a great choice when you have a mix of flooring in your home and do not want to invest the extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can perform regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes. It has a wide range of features including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, an additional water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can maneuver between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's not able to take care of tangled rug tassels, and its battery drains faster than other models we tested in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that provides an impressive suction and easy automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it performed very well. It also includes a wide range of cleaning modes to meet your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for carpeted rooms. It also has the capability to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum that can be used even in small areas. It's extremely quiet and speedy, and it does a good job of getting around tight spots. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has good suction power and can be set to take pictures of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they are not removed in future cleanings. The photos are secure, and not tied to you account.
It is capable of vaccuming, but it isn't as effective at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot, and then it drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
