World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the weapon's upgrade template is in %, the weapon will be able to gain an additional 3% of the previous attack damage every time it is upgraded.

The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the item's current level. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be inserted into armor, weapons and trinkets to give an additional stat boost or effect when they're used. These can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors, trading or looting. Certain upgrades also come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment with a slot for them; the item must be at least upgraded to the blue level for a component to be used. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are a kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and Ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging gear from the ascended, or by completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item Upgrader mod it's used on (for instance, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players to create stronger versions of that equipment that require less Upgrade Crystals than are required to reach the same level of upgrade using normal methods.

A 'boost upgrade' can alter the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them from the cash shop or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other equipment.

The player is able to have up to five boost upgrades at a time; each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-tier version of the item will drop in the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to keep improving their equipment even if they're not sure of the extent to which it will improve after a future reset.

The process of upgrading an item can be expensive and it is likely that the item will become obsolete, or even break, when the upgrade fails. upgrade item Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when the upgrade fails. This is reduced by the availability of cash shop items to double or even eliminate possibility of failure, as well as some upgrades that provide a bonus when reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade elements that can be placed in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs buff the power of all nodes in their radius, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded a variety of ways, and we recommend getting them to level 15 as soon as possible.

In the endgame, you will often find that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is by placing Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded directly to level 15 and offer a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes faster.

Glyphs, the only upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and replaced again, are the most common. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph of the same rank, or a higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use as well as through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you will require them to be put on your equipment. Each Glyph will unlock a unique bonus that can boost the stats of a specific set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.

Utilizing Glyphs Glyph will boost all the nodes connected to it, and you should aim to place your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximise the impact. For example, a Druid should aim to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes but also be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items allows players to increase the stats of specific items by introducing upgraded components. This is also known as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned a level which determines the final stats. Upgraded items are able to be leveled up to a maximum of 385 ilvl. Each level of item requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a specific ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab of a crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used to upgrading an item. When enough points have been earned you'll be able to claim the upgrade and also receive the bonuses.

When a player upgrades an item it is replaced with a new item of the same type. The same armor can be transformed into an weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also has its own set bonus. This could be a drawback because it can cause the item to become more expensive if you don't need it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough reroll tokens in order to do this. The item will be replaced by a brand new one that has a level 1 basis and completely different bonuses. This is useful for certain items, however it's not something that should be done regularly, as it can waste lots of resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value, allowing players to customize their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides buffs when the player repeatedly enters or exits the water. It is possible to upgrade it several times, each time raising the maximum roll by an increment of 10. This item is highly valuable in PvP. Requirements

If an item fails to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it gained, such as crit chance attack damage, other effects (such as increased heal over time, or reloading speed). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

Whenever an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from lowest to highest. This means that, should a weapon gain an increase in crit chance the increase is applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a new attribute that has been added to the definitions of items. The value is calculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading equipment that is not premium is equal to the value of the base item. For instance, a common item upgrader mod might have five upgrades for a price of. 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with a much lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items could have different upgrade requirements than standard gear. For example they may require less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. Whatever the case, players must visit the NPC [Armorthe ] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each equipment upgrade will require a different amount of the ingredients for upgrading.
