Our tester took the Zelia out on a stroll around town and was pleasantly surprised by how well it handled. She tried it on a stony and bumpy path and was impressed by how well it managed despite not being intended for much off-road activities.
She was also satisfied with the ease of it to fold. It has a lever on the back of the chassis that is easy to pull and reach, that then lifts the seat unit off its base. Baby Jogger City Mini
The City Mini is an ordinary full-size stroller. It's notable for being lightweight and compact. It also does well across all categories, though it doesn't score as well as some of the other models because of a poorly placed windows and storage that is somewhat restricted.
But, it's an excellent stroller, and one of our top picks for families who need something that can take them through everyday use and occasionally a trip. It has a pretty wide footrest and is well padded, which means that little ones will be comfortable. The seat reclines fairly flat however it took us two hands to do. The adjustable support for the calf is an excellent feature that will allow your child to lift their feet if they're tired.
The City Mini, like many other strollers in our list, has a large canopy that is UV50. Parents love it. The sun shade is constructed beautifully and can be pulled completely down. This is great as it shields your child from the sun without the need to constantly put the shade back into place.
Another great characteristic of the City Mini is that it can be converted into a double stroller by attaching an add-on kit. This will give you the possibility of using any Baby Jogger car seat and creating an entire travel system right from the beginning. The only downside is that adding a second seat to the
stroller travel alters its look and feel. Some parents might find this difficult to manage after they get used to it.
Another option to the City Mini is the City Mini GT Double Stroller. The model is a little more expensive than the single City Mini but it does have additional features, such as "forever air" rubber tyres and suspension which makes it suitable for off-road adventures. It also comes with an adjustable handlebar as well as a hand-operated parking brake, which makes it more user-friendly than the regular City Mini.
