The Best Twin Buggy
This inline
double pushchair from birth is designed to expand with your family. It comes with a variety of seating options that can be used by twins or kids of different ages. The rubber tires are filled with foam and don't flatten out and its soft suspension makes light work of kerbs.
It folds super-flat and meets the weight requirements of airlines gate-checks making it easy to carry around. It also comes with a huge underseat storage basket as well as a four-panel sun canopy.
Leclerc Influencer
With its elegant design, auto-folding feature and cabin approved dimensions the Leclerc Influencer is a great option for flyers. Its folded (and unfurled) width is 47cm. This is slightly more than the IATA standard 45cm. However, it still is in compliance with the regulations for hand luggage of airlines. It can be stored in overhead lockers on flights (subject to approval by the airline). It was easy to clean with a cloth and there were a variety of extras like nappy nappy, footmuffs and buggie organiser bags that clip on to the handles, and hoods that come with UV50+ protection.
It's easy to move up and down stairs, and it can fit into tight spaces like narrow streets, shops and Jane's terrace house. The bumper bar doubles up as a carry handle and there's an ample, flip-flop-friendly brake with a colour indicator. The basket is smaller than some other models however it's large enough to take an adequate-sized changing bag, and there are also additional trays for drinks, snacks and toys.
It's suitable from the moment of birth and can be combined with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat using adaptors (sold separately). For older children, there's a backrest that flattens to make it perfect for extended nap times or walks. The 5-point harness that is magnetic is easy to use. It's also extremely light at just 6.6kg and includes the travel bag.
Joie Evalite Duo
British brand Joie is committed to "sharing happiness with the new parents" and has created pushchairs that are "functional and innovative, as well as stylish". The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is their latest product. It is designed to carry two children at the same time, unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also offers stadium seating that lets both children experience the world.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg and is one of lightest strollers for siblings available. It's suitable for babies from birth and is compatible with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's easy for you to fold or lift, drive, and ride. The frame's clever design can be expanded to accommodate a second child seat.
Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding design is an outstanding feature. They were impressed by how quickly and effortlessly the Evalite Duo comes together. They did note that it was more difficult to navigate bumps and rough surfaces as compared to other models.
They also note that the front seat doesn't fully recline and they had to use their hands to get it back down which they would prefer not to be forced to do while traveling with children. However, they believe that the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that is a great choice with some adjustments. They are impressed by how compact it is when folded.
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that provides parents with all the options they require. It is compatible with many car seats, and folds easily using a one-click mechanism. It comes with a range of additional features, such as raincovers and liners. Other brands charge separately for these.
iCandy Peach is a favourite among parents who are fashion conscious due to its fashionable and modern jersey fabrics. This new 2022 version of the Peach has undergone a series of minor tweaks to improve performance and efficiency without sacrificing style.
The addition of a ride-on board makes this the perfect option for twins. It is also slightly more compact than older Peach models but that doesn't mean it from providing the space you'll require for your child.
It's a great double stroller for parents who need something that looks stylish and offers plenty of versatility. You can use it from the beginning as a single stroller, and then purchase a
double tandem pushchair kit to allow it to become a twin buggy. It has an enormous basket and five recline positions to provide maximum comfort for your child. It also comes with an easy fold that can be folded with one hand and an integrated carry strap. It is a bit bulky to store, especially since it folds in two parts instead of just one.
iCandy Orange
This is one of the best twin buggies available. The seats are comfortable and can be outfitted with luxurious footmuffs or liners that will keep your kids warm in cold weather. The carrycot is simple to attach by using the side flaps that open to allow for gate opening. It is spacious and comfortable. Orange chassis can accommodate 30 combinations of the seat and carrycot.
The wheels are designed to take on rough terrain and pavements. It also comes with an enormous shopping basket that's perfect for large supermarkets. The pushchair is lightweight and easy to drive. The rounded pedal brake makes it easy to use, but not for flip-flops. The latch that keeps it folded needs two hands to release. After it's folded the front wheels slide under the basket, and the chassis is free to stand.
The Orange is a great choice for style-conscious parents who have children or toddlers and want a stroller that will be able to grow with the child. It's a great option for parents who anticipate another baby in the near future and need a double pushchair that is flexible. The iCandy Orange may not be inexpensive but its versatility could make it last a long time and boost its resale value. It can also be fitted with a buggy, which should reduce the number of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
Established by a New Zealander, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group that also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first brand of prams to focus on all-terrain
double pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side
twin stroller is slim and sleek and is able to slide through doorways and maneuver well through narrow aisles of shopping. It is one the most compact and fully-featured double buggies that are available and has been awarded numerous awards, including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
The seats are wide enough to let children of varying ages to sit comfortably together. They also have independent reclining so that kids can select their preferred position. The large canopies feature flip-out sun visors and the storage basket is spacious with plenty of space. It works with most brands and accepts two infant car seat adapters when you purchase car seats.
The only downside is the weight. It weighs 32.4 pounds and could be difficult to get into and out of the trunk for Grandma. It's priced higher than other double side-by-side buggies. It is built to last and comes with a variety of options for the price. It's a good option for urban parents who want to avoid lugging a bulky stroller around. The padding of the harnesses, the 5-point buckle, and padded straps ensure safety for babies.
Bugaboo Donkey Twin
The Bugaboo Donkey
twin stroller with car seats is a beautiful, functional buggy with an elegant design. It's a great product, but not without flaws.
It offers very few extra conveniences, both for the kids and parents. The only thing offered by the small side bin is that it can only be used when one seat in the car is connected. There are no parent trays cup holders, cup holders, or accessory pockets and this could cause problems for long trips.
The seats also don't recline to a completely flat position and the gap between them is quite wide, so our 5 year old had trouble lying back with ease. This is a shame since it's a top-of-the-line model.
It's easy to maneuver, and the swivel wheel is ideal for climbing stairs and slopes. It's also small enough to fit through most doorways and folds up easily for stress-free storage and transport. It can also be switched back to mono mode in only three clicks, should you need more space or need to make a quick getaway. It can even accommodate a third child using the comfort wheeled board should you're required to. If you're budget-conscious you can find cheaper alternatives. If you like the brand and are able to afford it, it's well worth the price.
