The GP500 is a good choice for those who are looking for an inexpensive projector with impressive performance and features. Its contrast and brightness are both excellent. It can even display 3D images, but it is not recommended for rooms with dark lighting. It is equipped with several useful and practical features, including autofocus, keystone corrector, and corner fit. The GP500 has a low input lag and is very quiet. It is a great option for home theaters.

This projector has very good grayscale OOTB, with the lowest DeltaE errors being 2.3 (which is not noticeable to trained eyes). It also showed a lot of subtle color differences like when Adam struck his light-staff into the ground.
Other features include 3D support keystone correction, and autofocus. These features make installation easier. It also supports the standard BenQ configuration options. However, it doesn't have a lens shift or vertical focus. It does come with an image warping feature which can be helpful in less than ideal installations, but this does impact the image quality.
GP500 Platinum
The GP500 also features several common and uncommon convenience and quality of life features like Keystone and Corner Fit which digitally warp the image to aid in less than ideal installations as well as the Toslink optical Audio Out connector that mutes the built-in speaker when headphones are connected or an alternative speaker system is connected such as Keystone and Corner Fit, and Bluetooth capability that allows it to act as a wireless receiver to play music playback. 3D playback is also supported as well.
Subjectively I found the GP500 to have very precise grayscale OOTB. I measured an DeltaE of just 2.3 which is less than what's seen by the human eye but still quite acceptable. The Dynamic Contrast feature really helped bring depth to the a few night scenes in Life of Pi and the colors on display were excellent as well. Avatar was also very impressive.
GP500 Black
The GP500 is Pinlock Max Vision-ready, and tear-off-ready as well as opening tabs on both sides of the shield. It features an automatic shield lock to stop it from opening during riding (or in the event of an accident). The back of the helmet features an adjustable double-d-ring fastener which is tool-free.
The auto-focus function was swift and worked flawlessly and produced clear, crisp images with a variety of distinct shades. It struggled with the dark scenes at night in Life of Pi but overall it created a cinematic feel.
There aren't any race-related graphics for the GP500 but you can buy Airoh Sectors, Scrape and Cosmos in the plain black finish. You can also purchase it with Rockstar, Drive and Check graphics for a more track-focused appearance.
GP500 White
This scooter has a lithium battery that is high-spec. It can travel for a long distance before it has to recharged. The battery can be removed to charge remotely at your own convenience. This model also comes with incredibly strong puncture-proof tires to help you avoid flats while out and out and about.
Other notable features include 3D playback that can be activated via the built-in DLP-Link glasses. It's nice to see that this projector is still able to support this feature, considering that some brands have dropped it recently.
The GP500 White also has several common, but not so common quality-of-life features such as Keystone and Corner Fit (which is digital image warping). These are useful for installations that aren't ideal as they make it easier to display an image that is flat. They can, however, degrade image quality. It is important to be aware of this. The GP500 produced extremely clean and distinct colors, and also was a fantastic grayscale performer OOTB.
