Robots That Vacuum and Moprobots that vacuum and mop that vacuum and clean provide the convenience of cleaning both dry debris and wet messes in one session, without having to switch devices. They can also save space when compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot should be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacles avoidance. Look for models that have docks that let them automatically empty their bins, refill their water tanks and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's among the easiest robots to set up that we've tested. Unpacking is simple, and the quick-start guide can get you running in no time. It comes with an entire dust bag, water tank, and a hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can mops up a storm and is a great vacuum cleaner too. The mops spin at a high rate and employ 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to quickly get rid of pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a range of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app that lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.
For instance, you could decide to let the robot do a deep clean in the living and kitchen areas but take it easy in the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation technology are also excellent as the robot is capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. Its only issue is that it tends to hit walls and objects at full speed. However an inspection of the history of cleaning on the app will tell you exactly what the
robot vacuum cleaners reviews has accomplished, where it's going, and which obstacles he has run into or avoided.
The docking station has a handy LCD screen that indicates the time when maintenance is required for cleaning up debris and cleaning the water tank that is dirty. It also mixes detergent into the water tank by itself with a 600ml of eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time and the mop is able to operate for 184 minutes in Quiet mode, while the vacuum is able to do 136 minutes in normal mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to refill. You can view the full cleaning details in the app, which is clearly laid out and easily understood however we would like to be able to distinguish between a vacuum only or a vacuum/mop clean when looking at a clean area in the cleaning history.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's most popular robot mop and vacuum, is the newest version. The model of this year features a double agitator built into its mopping pad. This improves the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power that allows it to pull up smaller hairs and other particles other robotic cleaners may miss.
Like the two other Roborock models I've tested, this one has reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology to can help to avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things one step further by having a dual camera that can detect objects and determine whether they're a wall or another type of surface. It will then automatically alter its path and clean around the objects without a pause.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed but it's also packed with features. Its sleek and angular design is striking, and it only has three physical buttons. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning process, a mop button that doubles as a child-lock and a home button to bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml water tank. The water tank self-empties, and the bin is
auto vacuum and mop-filling.
The only drawback I could find in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't movable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth if required, but it's not easy to take the mount off for washing manually. I've noticed that any carpet that the
robot hoover crosses will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener on mount, which can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of clever features including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app allows you to manage and configure these features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app lets you schedule cleanings and track battery life. However, you'll need to jump through a few hoops to allow voice control with this model, which is a shame considering the quality of its performance.

Another notable feature is the X40's extendable and liftable side brush that allows it to reach difficult-to-access corners and clean curved furniture like table and chairs' legs. It also lets the robot to access furniture that is low-profile making it an ideal option for apartments or condos with tight spaces. The side brush tilts automatically down when it detects wet spots. This is a wonderful feature that helps the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors through repeated back-and-forth movements.
In contrast to other robots that are restricted to a single task, the X40 can vacuum and mop at the same time. It can be programmed to only mop the hard floors and skip carpeted areas or vice versa. It can be controlled through the Dreame app or with Alexa, Siri, and Google Home for smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is easy to use and understand, and the X40 comes with a variety of smart features that are simple to configure. Users can program the X40 to clean at certain times. It is also possible to alter suction power, alter modes, look at floor plans and maps and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and inform you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to clean and has numerous features that make it a perfect choice for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the dustbin into a huge 3.2 L bin, washes the mop pads, and refills them with fresh water and cleaning solution. It will also tell you whether the mop pad has reached its maximum capacity and alert you to the situation prior to it bursting.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available on the market. However, it has a number of features that make it stand out. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub. This utilizes two mops that are high-speed to clean floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and it comes with an impressive suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also clean pet hair, dirt particles, and clean up spills and soiled spots.
The mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This is a fantastic feature as it stops the growth of mould and unpleasant odours in the storage area, and it also makes mop systems more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen on other robot vacuum and mop models. It could be a great way to keep your home clean longer.
There are a lot of choices, including the possibility to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. These settings can be adjusted via the app or there are direct buttons on the unit itself. The app is easy to use and offers a variety of options for customizing your cleaning routine. It also has a number of functions that are not available on other robots, like the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction whenever it detects dust particles.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most fashionable robots we've seen on market, sporting metallic and white colors that looks elegant and classy. It is a little heavier at 4kg than the other robots on this list however it's not a lot of weight. It feels solid and well-constructed. The mopping system is also well-designed, and the double rotating mop is a great choice for hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature allows them to reach up to 2mm below baseboards.
