Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and MopRobot vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method of quickly cleaning up mess. The best robot vacuums and mops I've tested have top-notch mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
They're also simple to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and check on how they're up to.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient
robot mop and vacuum combination. It is equipped with the latest features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface that comes with a miniature map of your home as well as buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
Another notable characteristic of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode according to dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
The mop's roller has many other smart features, such as docks that connects to your home plumbing system to wash and clean it without you having to refill the mop. You can even use voice commands to control the S8's built-in voice assistant that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular control options with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities The Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible options. It's one of a variety of robot vacuums that also feature mops but is priced at a lower cost than the majority of competitors.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to begin, which includes setting up an account with the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done the
robot vacuum that mops can begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It is important to note that the mapping process can take a while and it could require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection feature is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a rug with tassels, and needed to turn to free itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an all-purpose cleaning tool
robots that vacuum and mop can do everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubs. This results in floors being cleaned, not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an innovative tool that can get to places robot vacuums can't.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and other clever features. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app allows you to customize a number of settings, including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads and empty their dust bins, and place debris into the self-sealing bags. This helps keep the system tidy and stops allergens from circulating. The battery life is long enough to handle large spaces without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more top-quality robot vacuums and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for hard and carpet floors and an excellent obstacles-avoiding. It also has a unique mopping system, that uses a roller that is continuously doused with water to pull dirt and place it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology was effective and was able to navigate close to walls without falling and avoiding stairs. However, it did struggle with finely engrained debris and was not always able to clear raised room thresholds. Its operating noise level is also high, so this model may not be as easy to set and forget as others.
Like many robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with the regular schedule. You can manage all of its functions via the Eufy app. It provides an easy overview and lots of configurability.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best vacuums/mowers on the market. It offers amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent accuracy, and the app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is a major issue with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM, while applying up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates smart carpet detection, lifting these pads upward when they're near soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating the carpet.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station features an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust, which allows for seven weeks of maintenance-free operation.
6. S10
This robot is only a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my home office tidy. It also has the ability to reach into the corners of my small apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to build an outline of your area and knows which areas to avoid. And, unlike many vacuums with mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop).
It also has some outstanding notable features, like a self-emptying dust bin and a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also alter the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile carpets. It can also skip
cleaning robot mop and vacuum rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to reduce time. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features, this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice if you are looking for a robot that can do both regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes. It comes with a variety of features, including a self emptying dustbin and a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's extremely quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't pick up the tangled tassels of rugs and its battery drains a little faster than other models we tested in our tests.
With a price tag of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and handy automation into a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did extremely well overall. It has a variety of cleaning modes, from the low power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the incredibly powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to remove and reconnect its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped spaces. It's very quiet and fast, and it is a great choice for maneuvering around tight spaces. It is also very good at removing pet hair from carpeting.
It's smaller than the majority of its rivals, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has good suction power and can be configured to take photos of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and not tied to you account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, but it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bot's bottom, and it essentially drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
