The best robot vacuums and mops that I have tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.

You can also schedule cleaning chores using an app and track their progress.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

If you're searching for the most effective robot vacuum and mop combo with cutting-edge features you should take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and was able to pick up human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface that includes a miniature map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.

The S8's Dirt Detection Technology enables it to change the cleaning mode based on the level of dirt. It will wash its mopping pads more often if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with mopping pads that are damp.

It has a variety of other features that are smart also, including an alternative dock that connects to your home plumbing to wash and clean the mop without requiring you to refill it manually. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to specify the cleaning mode of your room and provide precise control with just your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities. It's among the many combinator robot vacuums that include mopping features that are also offered at a lower price than the competition.

Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This involves establishing an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though, the robot can start cleaning and mopping easily.

It's important to note that mapping takes a while, and it may take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. In addition, object detection can be hit or miss; it was able to skirt furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to turn its back to release itself. But these are minor issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those looking for an all-in-one solution for cleaning.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping feature the ability to rotate in a manner similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are actually cleaned and not just cleaned. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to get into places that robot vacuums can't.

The model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa, and a few additional clever features. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app allows you to customize a number of settings including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads and empty their dust bins, and place debris into a self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean, and prevents allergens recirculating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without needing the battery to be charged mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot autonomous vacuum and mop that has impressive features for affordable prices. It has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets and a great obstacle-avoiding. It also features an unique mopping method that utilizes a roller continuously sprayed with water to collect dirt and then deposit it in the water tank.

Its navigation system was efficient. It stayed clear of the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing. It struggled with small particles and did not always clear the thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also very high, which means this model might not be as simple to set and forget as the other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking technology that allows it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dustbin, wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with a regular schedule. You can control all its functions using the Eufy app. It provides a clear overview and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot mowers available, and it offers an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with good precision. The app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, set zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be a major issue with many robotic hoovers vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is equipped with intelligent carpet detectors, which lift these pads up when they are near soft surfaces to prevent contamination.

The docking station acts as an automated maintenance center that automatically washes and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station features an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust and allows for seven weeks of maintenance-free operation.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars less than the S8 and this robot does an excellent job of keeping my office clean and can also tackle the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your area, so it knows where to stay away from. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like toys and dog bowls (but not the poop), unlike many vacuums.

It has other great standout features, including an automatic vacuum cleaner emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas other mops miss. You can also customize the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.

Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping and can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. And, if you want to save time, it can avoid mopping rooms that aren't filthy. It's an excellent option when you have a mix of flooring in your home but do not want to invest the extra money on the Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is an excellent choice to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can handle regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a variety of features, including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own as well as a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It is surprisingly quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It's unable to pick up tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains quicker than other models we tried.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that comes with a powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests like the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did very well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the quiet mode with low power' for light debris to the powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to remove and reconnect mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for those who live in tiny areas. It's extremely silent and fast and it is able to navigate tight spaces with ease. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than most of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has good suction power and can be set to take photos of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not located' so that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secured and aren't linked to your account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, but it isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bottom of the bot and it essentially drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
