Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be converted from a single to double stroller by the addition of a second seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection can be configured to be a triple travel system with the addition of an infant car seat. In all, it offers 24 configurations and is a top-ranked stroller overall. This model utilizes Baby Jogger's breathable, soft TENCEL fabric that aids in thermal regulation and are sustainably sourced. It has a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It is 20percent smaller and lighter than the most popular single-to-double stroller available, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a moderate-sized sunshade and a handy magnetic peek-a-boo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable and works for parents of any height. The seats recline and there is an adjustment button for the footwell to help you place your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is large, but we wish it had an opening that was more secure. The bin is easy to open, but the zippers can be annoying because they need to be removed and put back in place after each use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breakers that are easy to set up and release by pulling a lever located on the frame's side, lower than the handlebar. It's barefoot and sandal-friendly and is an improvement over the clunky toe-pinch brake lever that a few of the other models use.
This is the only stroller in our review that can accept two infant car seats making it an ideal option for twins or for parents with one kiddo and a baby due. It can be used to fit most infant car seats from major brands with an adapter. We tested it using Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q as well as Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a great alternative for families who already own a car seat, but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you may prefer a convertible stroller in this instance.
