Members agree to use gate key-card or gate code for their own personal use and shall not share it with other members, non-members, or guests; this includes not opening gate for other SAOR attendees. 2. Non-Swimmers age 5 and under may use the baby and transition pool, accompanied by an adult. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 10, NOT SANCTIONED FOR SWIMMING IN THE MAIN POOL BY A LIFEGUARD, MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT OR GUARDIAN. Three Point Break Rule is used, if no ball is pocketed, three balls must touch the head string, or the break is considered ‘illegal break’. If both players agree, they may accept the stalemate without taking their three additional turns. For example, if teams consist of players 1 and 2 versus players 3 and 4, and player 1 breaks, turns alternate in the pattern 1 (breaking), 3, 2, 4, 1, 3, 2, 4, etc. I.e., the ending of a player's turn at the table ends that team's turn at the table. The white ball should be placed anywhere behind the service line on the table. 6.11 Bad Play from Behind the Head String For a foul under the second paragraph of 6.11, the cue ball is in hand behind the head string for the incoming player.
If a player commits a particularly violent act, such as striking a player, then the referee may signal a brutality foul, in which case that team is required to play with one fewer player in the water for 4 minutes, and the excluded player is ejected and must leave the pool area and cannot return. All swimmers must take a shower before entering the pool. All members must sign in (and their guests if any) upon entering the pool. Any persons having an obvious communicable disease, skin eruption, cut, sore, lesion, or an eye, ear, nose, or throat infection will be prohibited from entering the pool. Orpen is well known for having a diverse array of wildlife, and some of the animals you will come across include rhino, buffalo, elephant, leopard and lion which make up the Big 5. Other animals include wildebeest and jackals. In order to make your Old Farm Swim and Paddle Tennis Club (OFSPTC) experience safe and pleasant, the following rules shall be observed. 1. The pool staff is responsible for all people using OFSPTC facilities and enforcing these rules.
The pool manager and pool staff are responsible for the safe and orderly operation of the pool. Exceptions may be granted by the Pool Manager on duty. During this time only adults (18 years and over) and pool staff may swim. Lap pool lanes are restricted for lap swim only as determined by pool management. No glass containers, chewing gum or food is allowed in the pool area. 8. Due to the requirement of the State Health Department, all food must be purchased at PCC and must be eaten at the tables and lawn chairs provided. Children under the age of 16 must not use pool without an adult in attendance when no lifeguard is on duty. All children (13) years of age or younger must have an adult 18 years or older with them in the pool facility at all times, unless participating in a program. All owed balls must be repaid before any pocketed balls count towards a player's game score. The Twilight Zone produced an episode titled "A Game of Pool" in 1961, and remade it in 1989, with a straight-pool player being revived from the afterlife to compete in one last match. There are several varieties of the game.
Members are responsible for ensuring that their children and guests are informed of, and obey, these rules. Lifeguards have final say on all rule interpretations and may adapt rules if they feel safety is a concern to any patron. All members must have bathing attire on at the pool. Must be designed and sold specifically for the activity of swimming. We have group swimming lessons, private swim lessons, and a competitive swim team; details can be discussed with a staff member. 5. No swimming under the boards. Problems should be brought to the attention of the Pool Manager and, if unresolved, to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors may take disciplinary actions including suspension or revocation of membership for improper actions by a member, dependant, or guest. Diaper changes must take place in the changing tables located in the changing rooms or bathrooms and are not allowed on the pool deck or in the pool area. Parents may take kids 4 years and under with them into the pool at this time. 4. An adult must accompany all children 12 years of age and under. For a called shot to count, the referee must be satisfied that the intended shot was made, so if there is any chance of confusion, e.g. with bank, combination and similar shots, the shooter should indicate the ball and pocket.
